That's what I thought also but you don't expect the turn lights to be lower, and that gets your attention. You actually KNOW the signals are on, not lost in the other lighting. It makes you LOOK at the turn lights because it's different, especially at night, imo Now it seems to makes some sense.
The front looks make me turn my head away, the back is somewhat tolerable. Exterior designer must've been someone from a competing company trying to reduce Sportage sales....
thanks ive got the same one but 2013 man too right i went for that could of got a 2018 one for around the same price but lower spec so i went big spec on the one i got i just hate the headlights top of the bonnet and not like ours just looks more like a car and not a fat puffer fish lol ive had a few beers by now so sorry grammar is out the window right haha!!

@@linandy1 You won't have to worry about it occasionally pull trans over to sportmatic and manually shift up keeping RPM up GDI engines dont like to be lugged. Take it on a long trip accasionally do required maintenance and you'll get at least 100000 miles trouble free miles out of it. Drive it dont beat it.

@@koreancarnews I've get the lx model it's looks like all plastic , softertones would go a long ways. Traded 2019 jeep and fit finish was better. But i like the sportage, it a lot more leg room in it.

a mechanic from the usa said: don't buy kia. I bought a brand new kia cerato and it is shit. the big screen sound system, reverse camera system turns itself off or loses the sound and the only way to fix it is by turning the car off, has been replaced 3 times, but a little company called matrix in australia told kia they would not replace them anymore, they would work on a software fix instead, that shit software fix did not work and had to replace it yet again, a little shit company forced kia to stop replacing parts, so much for the 7 year warranty that they are so proud of, kia refused to replace the sound system, disgusting, disgraceful, unlawful and there are more problems. shit, shit, shit..........................
If the turn signals are down in the rear bumper, then that is a deal breaker for Kia and Hyundai. Not a good decision for safety and esthetics.

Don't like the design at all. Such a letdown. I love the design of my older 2017 kia sportage more. This time around hyundai wins in the design dept.
Yes, indeed, the current Kia Sportage is such a classy-looking car. It still looks very nice.

Hi, yes, the new Tucson and the new Sportage will both be Smartstream engines that will burn much cleaner to prevent such a problem.
