I just got mine in the mail today. I've had your video saved waiting on it! I just did one on myself (very hard on curly frizzy hair) but I did it! I got them in my daughter's school colors and I'm going to put some in at her cheer game tomorrow.
Ugh I’m sorry you are having such a hard time. It is harder to do on yourself because of the angle . Sometimes if it’s slipping you aren’t doing the correct about of knots in the order you are suppose to
@@priscillawilliams4772 it all depends on how well you take care of it. If you aren’t snagging the strands then it should last until the hair sheds the tinsel
If you had a mirror on the wall in your bathroom to see the back that would probably be the easiest so you don’t have to hold the mirror and it frees up your hands! Or you may need to recruit a friend
Once you get the hang of how to tie it’s pretty easy. I always like to slow down the video/pause it while I’m learning something new. But if it’s too complicated I’m sure someone local to you will install for a small fee

That sounds like a fun plan for your daughter!!! So fun for you both to have tinseled hair together 🥰 thanks for watching
THANK YOU , this video was so helpful !!
Love to hear that you found it helpful ☺️
Great detailed video thank you+!❤❤❤❤
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching
How do you take it out if there are so many knots and you don’t want to wait for it to naturally come out? Is it easier than it seems?
If you snip very close to the knots that you have created and use a rat tail comb typical the tinsel will unravel
Every time I try this the knot slips down the hair shaft. It’s very hard to get it to stay close to the scalp. 😩

Please show a video on how to remove these. I don’t want to have any hair cut
Video was just posted on my channel ❤️
Post link? Not there. At least not anymore. 😢
Awesome 🎉
Btw wish *my* hair looked as good as your Dummies 😅👍🏻
Hahahaha thank you! Some of them start looking rough after all the different techniques I do in them
❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊
So far the best way for me to do the tinsel on my nieces hair
How long does it last this way?
@@priscillawilliams4772 it all depends on how well you take care of it. If you aren’t snagging the strands then it should last until the hair sheds the tinsel
Does this eventually make the hairs you tie the tinsel onto break because of all the stress of the knot-tying and then brushing afterwards?
I haven’t noticed any breakage
If you were to do it on your own hair how would you do the back??

@ thank youu!!
Ok but what is a slip knot? I couldn’t see what you were doing at all
Maybe this photo will help you visualize it better

So there’s 5 knots?
Four to five
Are you able to style like normal with the tinsel in your hair?
Yes but you want to be careful with heat on the tinsel. If you want it curled I would curl it like a ribbon with scissors
Looks too complicated lol
