- hydro dam catfishing on the ohio river below my local dam pays off in the fall months october through november, it can be a really good time of year to fish these dams and this hydro dam has a fantastic current seem for fall catfish, i put to good fishing trips in this video to show how i catch these catfish, i used light tackle and small bait fish and heavy tackle with large chunks of skip jack for bait i hope you enjoy the adventure.

@RiverBloodfishing we bank fished that spot back in early Sept and they were not running much if any water..struggled to catch even some sunfish. Would like to get back out that way. My daughter now lives in Louisville which will gives us more reason to be out that way.

@@jimsmith8740 we caught some yesterday on the boat vertical jigging Carolina rigs and heavy jig heads tipped with baby gizzard shad also caught some on the bank with with 3/8 ounce jig head a 3 inch curly tail grub last week but the current is strong at the moment hardfrom the bank
