Hey cool vid! Question for you: do you recall if there’s a “bell” sound to the cymbals? Like if you hit the bell with a real kit, it’ll sound different than hitting the edge. Wondering if this kit replicates that.
@@SamTomMillerMusic I was considering buying one to record with, as I’m in a bit of a time crunch and this thing’s pretty cheap. Have you had any success recording with it?
It does not come with an amp, speaker, or speaker cables, all of which I use in this video. It also does not come with headphones. I don't think it comes with a throne either, but I could be mistaken.
yes, and you can change how sensitive it is. So you could have one pad, say the snare, have more variation, but the bass pedal, for example, be more or less the same every time.
@@jdiperla there's a couple different settings. Retrigger cancel (how quickly it will play another sound...too low and vibrations might cause it to set off again. Too high and if you play fast it might not activate on every hit) Threshold (how hard you have to hit to activate the sound) Curve (relationship between how hard you hit and how loud it plays) X-talk (too low and hitting one pad might activate another nearby that also vibrates. Too high and hitting two pads at once might only let one activate) These settings are changed per pad, so if you want to change every pad, you have to do one at a time. To change these settings, press UTIL, then hit whatever pad you want to change, then press UTIL again to go through different options, and press - or + to change the selected option. To save a setting, press REC/PLAY

Not on this kit, every area of every pad just triggers the same sound. And there's no choke feature either
@@SamTomMillerMusic Ahh good to know!

@@DanBauer i don't do much recording, other than just filming stuff live, so i can't give you much info there. Sorry :/
@@SamTomMillerMusic All good, appreciate the insight anyway.
Where do you buy the double pedal?
There's no double pedal, you just set the hi hat pedal to make the same sound as the bass drum pedal.
SamTom Miller how do you do you?
@@rickybobby3444 you can set any pad to any sound
Oh?
SamTom Miller Thanks for the help, I appreciate it!
Hey! I just got this for my son to put under the 🎄, is everything comes in box? No need to buy extra? Cables or anything?

Thank you !
Do I have to use a specific amp or headphones to be able to hear it?
Nope, standard 1/4" and 1/8" jacks
the sound to the SD350 is responsive to how hard u hit it, right ?

@@SamTomMillerMusic how do adjust sensitivity?
