    With the first hand where he had qt in early position vs the sb, I thought he should bet around 63% because he might not have the range advantage but should have the nut advantage… and from watching upswing videos I’ve learned that as your bet frequency decreases your bet amount needs to increase… so since this is a board texture which will usually favour the blinds more than someone in early position (granted this is slightly different because he was a straddle and therefore acts as a blind), you want to bet a small range of hands with a bigger bet amount. Glad to see the upswing vids paying off.

      #2 - you're nopt a winning player so your opinion or advice means absolutely zero here
      #3 - as said above being you have zero expereince/credibility/or success you have zero place criticizing anyone's play
      #4 - you come here to tell one of the top poker players in the world that your proceeses work better than their's - you're clearly both oblivious as well as extremely arrogant
      #5 - your post is also highly passive-aggressive

    I had the exact same analysis as you in the 1010 hand verbatim. Like, spooky levels of verbatim to hear my exact thoughts be verbalized for 15 minutes or whatever - my best game was also HUNL so perhaps that's why. I loved the idea of jamming 1010 there. I'd also probably jam AA blocking a lot of airballs and A8 but unblocking all worse pocket pairs that can hero call, as well as Q, but that would be likely the bottom of my value range for that size.

  • @wildncrazyguy21
    @wildncrazyguy21 6 месяцев назад

    Well the TT hand where Doug says he shouldve jammed w that particular combo, he never says WHY that combo. 2 bdfd blockers means your villian has what? Don't get why. Also Dougs bluffing freq is pretty high and people know this so I doubt better is folding. Even if he jams pairs higher than TT are calling vs Doug. I don't like the bet or jam since you're only called if you're beat and higher prs which is a lot of the 4 bet range are calling.

    • @robertwhittick6427
      @robertwhittick6427 6 месяцев назад

      I'm actually not sure why that specific combo either, but also in GTO world it doesn't matter if the better doesn't fold because it means he gets value whenever he isn't bluffing, and in a 4-bet pot Q3 doesn't beat value (and if he never bluffs then Q3 folds everytime)

    • @DougPolkPoker
      @DougPolkPoker  6 месяцев назад +2

      Oh I should have mentioned. When there are 2 clubs on the turn, his main bluff hands contain a club. That means when he checks back the turn, he has more of his giveups and marginal showdown. Usually when you have the turned suit you have more river bets vs missed turn bet.

    • @synchronium24

    On the AJ vs KQ hand, you show on the screen pio wants to bet AJ most of the time but you state you shouldn't. Huh? Seems like a good hand to bet 4 betting w prd board and backdoors. Not understanding why you wouldn't range bet this. Your saying opposite of what pio is showing and what makes sense imo being the reraiser pre. You're just sooo good at poker? Is that why you're owned in live games most of the time? You made your money being a computer nerd doing what a computer tells you to do online. That works for online..not for the most part playing live vs humans which is why you use mostly live and Daniel owns you live but you can beat him only if it's analyzing computer stats w people probably assisting you. Just because pio says that's ok to check doesn't mean you're just sooo good at poker. By the way, most of the time pio says to bet most AJs here because you can get called by worse like kk qq or JJ or suited aces. While this is interesting you're biggest flaw in all this solver work is you don't node lock to what most villains actually do which changes the outputs dramatically. You are overly aggressive in my opinion so people know to call you wider. Just because a computer program says you should do something it doesn't automatically make it the correct play. It's all player dependant, image dependant, etc as well..ya know poker..not just what a computer program tells you. Honestly while pio you can learn from, most live poker to make the most amount of money should be more exploitative than solver based.
