The white cable was because everyone had white walls. And Burn in is very rare and house insurance will cover it. Plus you have to remember that LG provides the screen's to Sony Televisions especially the A95k model's. Plus you should have changed your remote there are different ones. Looked like you was holding the CX anyway Thanks not a bad TV then it has won a couple of awards for the 55" LG C2 evo version. Better than the over hyped Samsung S95B 55". But please give me White cable because it matches the skirting. And if someone goes on about cable and remote the TV is alright. Thanks for sharing.

4:28 This is caused because you can press and hold that same button and trigger the "static" settings menu. So the TV just waits to see if you meant to "hold" the input or it was just one press of the button. It's so stupid but yeah thats how they map their shortcuts on the remote. It has nothing to do with the TV processor or anything of that matter. Hope that helps :D

Around 2 years ago the woman who was at the top for Windows Marketing outreach, ie the person who would go to shows around the world, left publicly commenting it was over the constant stress of threats. Your so upset over a windows feature that you tell someone your going to kill them personally. They actually have to have body guards. The delay in the remote can be changed in the settings so it's far more responsive.
Go to all settings, general, system, additional settings, pointer options then tracking speed set to fast.
The remote is horrible but it's not a "high end" OLED as he wrongfully described it as being. Corners had to be cut somewhere for performance like this at such a great price, compared to the likes of Sony.

love your videos! i can kind of understand why LG have it in ECO mode by default. They figure that the savvy tech users like us will lets face it find out and crank up the settings, as i noticed on a new TV at work that the backlight brightness setting was greyed out when i tried to increase it, whereas the general folk who dont even notice or care about picture quality will leave it, and then the ECO benefit is there and a few kgs less of CO2 released haha anyways thats why i think they are doing that

What the hell is wrong with todays society when people are losing their minds over a persons honest take on what's wrong with a tv? Unreal!! People need to grow the hell up. That being said. My friend has already gone through 2 tv's this year. One was the over hyped Samsung 95B which had a bend in the screen, which he could live with, but it died on him after 3 weeks of ownership. He got a second one and yep it suffered a horizontal line screen issue. He looked at the C2 and got a C1 instead due to the small upgrade wasnt enough to justify the price. I think a lot of these nuances you've mentioned are as a whole superficial. Most of these doesn't take away from the actual quality of the tv, just maybe poor anesthetic design choses. I think my biggest gripe though with my G1 (and apparently still the C2) is that stupid App menu. I don't mind the layout as much but it's a pain in the ass to go away when I want to watch on-air cable. But the TV itself is still the best tv I've ever owned. Overall though, I agree with some of the nitpicks you have with your C2.

Most people buying LG OLED care very much about excellent picture and will know there are settings to tweak. I'm actually glad that that power save feature is still there. They buried it more then where it was on my 2016 OLED65B6P. I didn't realize I almost cannot fall asleep unless in front of the TV anymore, lol, been doing it for like 25yrs... I use that max power save every night now so it way less bright and easier to does off. It didn't work on HDR stuffon my 2016, but does on my 2022. I had not seen the white version until I saw your video, since here in Mexico (and I think it is the same in the rest of America) we just have the black version of it. I agree with you that webOS is not the snappiest of the OS's and I also miss the old version with the simple row of apps and inputs at the bottom of the screen. Sir I feel so bad that you received threats. I can't imagine people would take comments so personal. Take care Sir. Your vide is kind of funny to me cause I still watch TV on an old 2012 full HD 50inc LG with a 1 inch black border. It works like a charm since the first day. What makes me smile or worry its the fact that 2022 webOS is not faster that the rudimentary "OS" on my old HD TV and as messy too. But my 2012 remote is sturdy , just big enough and has al the commands you wish. As for the power cable, for sure it's fixed but it's 5 feet long, just measured it.I've read in many reviews that commands and puts are discretely remove year after year. And I read that mostly of LG products. I think that LG is cutting corners nowadays like so many other manufacturers but it's doing it for the sake of doing it. Removing the audio input doesn't enhance the picture and LG doesn't make any economy of some sort by removing it. I should move on to a newer TV but maybe I will think outside the box this time and go for another brand than the big 3. Thank you Sir.

I have this in the 42inch variant . Use it as my PC monitor and its just amazing. Preventions i have took to reduce burn in are..
Auto hide desktop icons after 5 seconds.
    Auto hide windows taskbar
    Pc monitor sleep after 5mins
    And a black desktop background.
This doesn't mean you can't use it as a normal monitor, its just that i am always up and down from my desk, and if i go away longer then expected, i know nothing will be left on the screen longer then 5 mins. These are just precautions i recommend if using as a PC monitor.

You have legitimate complaints and they’re all pretty accurate. I was lucky enough to get one of the ones with black trimming so I don’t have to worry about that silver trimming which, I agree, is completely stupid. One thing you have to realize though, the energy saving mode is legislated by hardware manufacturing standards. TV makers are forced to do these things, so it’s not all LG’s fault. I did disagree with a complaint about the power cable because the light color is good against most walls and if you wall-mount, you can easily get a decent extension cord (any color you like).

Didn't see you mention about the multiview feature, I wonder if that annoys you too: I cannot use the multiview (picture in picture) with for example Live TV + HDMI. I used to do that with my old LG panel, but they simply removed that in C2 (I wonder if C1 too). Really useful when you want to play some videogame and your wife wants to watch something being aired... Thanks man, great content! Regards from Brazil!

Very good description. Great picture and great connectivity to bluetooth devices and Alexa. Love the panel bezel, looks great when not in use, BUT my biggest disappointment is the remote control and software menu structure, E.G. how do you change from Freeview to Freesat? very complicated indeed! The remote volume and channel rockers are not highlighted making hard to see ! A simple button to change the inputs would be great ! For me personally I love Panasonic tv's and their remotes! they are so user friendly with the most necessary buttons and easy to navigate and tactile, unfortunately Panasonic now don't make their own tv's and standards have fallen hence I have had to try LG.
I have previously not been a fan of LG as I felt it was a compromise on aesthetics and build quality. My 3 week old LG 42" OLED has gone wrong today and is going back tomorrow, I'm considering going Sony or Panasonic, unless the C3 has improved on the messy cluttered home page interface and solved the complicated menu structure. LG design team have little consideration for simplicity in mind. I am very tech savvy but this tv is just over complicated. When I'm relaxing I shouldn't be getting stressed with operating a TV. Any now that's my rant over for now😁

@@TheTechGiantRUclips I am loving it... I am a creative, so I am actually using it for my 3d work. Color accuracy is great... but I knew this... this is my third OLED. As far as burn in... I have an extended warranty that covers it for 3 years. But these are things I have set to mitigate the issue:
      1) I set my background to black in Windows.. hide taskbar and icons... and use windows dark mode. All my apps use this mode anyway, so not a big deal.
      2) I only work in SDR (sRGB)/ACES workflow, sRGB is my colorspace anyway. I use HDR for my gaming and movie watching.
      3) I use ISF Expert Bright ... and change the OLED Pixel Brightness to 35 (100 Nits).. which is sRGB.
      4) I set a screensaver for 1 minute. (BLACK)
I know you were probably only looking for an "It is great!!!!" answer.... hahaha

Hi Tech Giant with regard to the screen burn in on the G2 there is a option to turn on Pixel shift which will help to stop screen burnin I . Also the other comments are fair except the turn off power saving mode as if your spending 3k on a tv you will do your research but this is to reduce energy consumption which you just turn off. Overall love your stuff. Are going to do a settings video.

Thinking of replacing my Lg C8 for this but hearing about the amount of ‘advertising’ space taken up in the menus is really putting me off! I value my privacy and the very fact that these tech companies believe they have a right to know more than they should about us should be completely disallowed. Granted, these tv’s are subsidised due to it and even Lg get paid for the ‘app’ buttons used on its remotes so its a win win for them.
A work around is to block the websites/IP addresses to which these tv transmit back through your router. Not all routers do this but it is a bonus to avoid them tracking your viewing habits (bar the usual streaming platforms).
I have done this with my current C8 and luckily have been ad free so far, if anyone has this model ill be happy to disclose these addresses here.
This is a form of target advertising which I completely detest, distain and disapprove of… but sadly it will never go away!
