Angelina has over 150 songs on RUclips from age 1 1/2 yrs old thru now, age 17. She has covered over 70 of the best artists going back to the 50s to the present. Angelina has millions of fans and I’m sure not all of her songs are their favorites, some they like more than others, I think that’s normal. Angelina has given us the opportunity to hear and see the Artistic growth of a future Legend. Angelina is way too special a singer (a prodigy IMHO). I think you will enjoy her journey as much as so many of us. By the way, she has about seven original songs she wrote from age 11 to present. Her latest original song is part of an EP to be released soon, all original music.

IMHO Angelina's masterpiece to date was recorded in 2016, at 10 yrs old. "I'm Still Holding Out For You" (ruclips.net/video/Dv8mjCh5iiE/видео.html) was co-written by Brandon
Lowry at a 2016 writers workshop in Oslo, Norway. Brandon sent out lyrics and melody to several artists, including Angelina, in an attempt to receive a demo. Angelina's
recording was never released and unknown party(s) obtained the recording and created the LEAKED video from public access photos, which was released in November
2018, one month before Brandon released his video with the song.
She was 10 years old here, but still 21 months older than in her cover of I Put A Spell On You. Just to put that one in context for you.
You must mean 12 months because she was 9 when she sang "I Put a Spell on You".

So much is happening during those years, it is just worth mentioning I think. The stage name of the writer of the song is, Baby Fuzz. This leaked performance of Baby Fuzz’s song is a demo. Angelina performed it when she was ten years old. She was actually one week away from her eleventh birthday. Angelina’s family felt that the lyrics were too risqué for someone Angelina’s age to be singing it. Hence the reason why Angelina’s family wouldn’t allow it to be released. I’m not sure how this song was leaked, but there is no doubt that had it been released, it would be a chart topper.
The story goes that was the original demo recording for this song and the writer and Angelina's camp didnt reach an agreement so it wasn't released but it is a fan favorite
I wish that the writer of this song would do a deal with Angelina to give her rights to it. I believe AJ could today make an even better version of this and fill the airways.
She is 10 here, recorded it for the songs author (baby fuzz) as a demo to try to sell it to another artist. It's a fan favorite. After the leak author put out their own version to protect their copy right. Neither the author or Angelina's team asked it be pulled. Lot of her fans thinks Republic should buy it for her so she could release a current version.

As other said she was 10... Just a week or 2 before her 11th Birthday. The reason there is some footage of her at age 12 in the video is because about 1.5 years went by between the leak, and the fan getting the audio and eventually a the Fan made video being made. ;)

This journey is basically about getting to know Angelina as a singer and person. All these videos reflect 10 years of work that this girl put into her singing career. And when she'll drop her debut album she'll be a seasoned artist already. Yet, this is only the beginning. Elton John recently gave his last concert at the age of 76. Imagine Angelina gave her last concert at the age of 76, she'd still have about 60 years ahead of her! Unfortunately, if her career lasted that long, probably none uf will be able to see the end of it.

Hi there! I agree that this is one great song and heartfelt vocal performance from AJ . There are stories about this "hidden" song. I don't believe she ever sang it after which is a shame. I saw the video of Fuzzy performing the song in a completely different way. As far as I am concerned, she made her own. I too am anxiously waiting for her next album! Thank you for your reaction!
This is a hacked song from Angelina, as they never released this song as it depicted suicide and the family didn't want to promote that message....

I’m going back and catching some of your previous reactions, and I just want to say that I personally think the reactor will be better able to appreciate Angelina’s song if they know her age at the time she sang it. For instance, with this one, if you knew she was only ten and doing a demo, never hearing anyone else sing the song before, and she probably arranged it herself, wouldn’t that color your reaction? I know it would mine. Another example is It’s A Man’s World-An eleven year old singing live on stage with a full band behind her, and at one point shocked the conductor even!

This one where little is absolutely known, so you may get a variety of background stories. What I believe is that this is an original interpretation of a very good adult song by a very young singer. Sadly it seems to have touched upon taboo subject matter for the family. Glad you enjoyed it and I wish more of the world could have done so also.

@@kentovewagenes1141 I'll go watch her reaction. I guess this is an older video. I like the video with her uncle and sister and I really like her love version last summer in Norway. Few singers can perform "live" as well as or better than in a studio. Many lean on the production to help but Angelina doesn't need any of it.

New subscriber - thanks to your great reaction to & appreciation of this masterful performance by Angelina - at just 10 years old. My understanding is that Angelina was asked to demo this song for the original songwriter "Baby Fuzz". (His original version is available, but IMHO quite bland compared to what Angelina produced.) Angelina's Mom did not think the ending lyrics were appropriate for her 10 year old daughter & it was never released - until someone "leaked" it. I strongly believe that it is one of her best songs ever (at any age) - & kudos to the fans that made the video. Btw - there are several other incredible Angelina fan made videos - including : "How Great Thou Art" (featuring Angelina's low register) & Wicked Game (the Suni Amtoft fan made video also shows Angelina playing the piano background track). Their is not video for this because it was never supposed to get. Released that's why many call this "Leaked" she was given a demo at age 10 and she sang this,,,, her mom grandma and uncle among others listened to it and discussion was started about the meaning of the song. With no decision being made they decided not to let it out incase it was about suicide and they didn't want a 10 year old to be singing about it. Then it was leaked

You have received quite a lot of info about this song. There are many versions, as the Angelina team has stayed mum about it. It’s not on her cover channel. The version you reacted to is the only one available. I have listened to Baby Fuzz’s version and it personally believe Angelina’s performance of this song is near perfection. ❤
Baby fuzz along with a few others wrote the song and had been looking for artists to record the song but had no takers , some folks who knew Angelina and baby fuzz obtained the demo and recorded the Angelina version aged 10 a week before her 11th birthday .for some unknown reason to me it was just left on the shelf for 2 / 3 years ? then suddenly this leaked video was released on RUclips followed around 1 month later by a baby fuzz version , he claims he had never heard of Angelinas version before releasing his own .anyone claiming that mother sara put the blocks on the Angelina version because of inappropriate lyrics will have no evidence to back up that statement in fact baby fuzz has denied the song was about suicide . As Andy schnell has suggested my comments are not from any facts I have personally obtained but from other long standing knowledgeable fans .

100% agree Ashlena, this is one of the very best performance of Angelina's early years, recorded I believe at age 10. Her recording was made as a demo before the writer Baby Fuzz released it himself, and many of us regard this AJ performance as the definitive version of the song.
Ashlena, Angelina was 10 years old went she recorded this demo for Brandon Lowry, songwriter aka "Baby Fuzzry". The demo was leaked out by an unknown person, without Brandon Lowry's permission around the same time he released his original version. The lyrics are the same however, Angelina's demo is better than the original written by Brandon Lowry.

I have no idea how factual any of it is, but William Johnson, the author, mentions Kent Nielsen who is a regular commentor on reactions to Angelina. I encourage everyone to clearly state if their comments are factual, opinions or taken from someone else's comments as I have done here.

The following was posted by William Johnson on the subject: The thing about the lyrics being a problem with her family is just a rumor, and not why she didn't release it. And while she made several versions of this song, this one was recorded in 2017, just before she turned 11. Kent Nielsen, a friend of the writers and who knows Angelina's family, gives this information about this song, and also about "Shield": Your understanding of “Shield” seems to be everyone’s understanding. But like the John Legend rumor, this is a general misconception. I actually spoke with Ronny Janssen, one of the producers of “Shield” and he told me that the super talented, award-winning producer/songwriter Aksel Carlson wrote the song. Angelina had one line prior to the song being written “Forgive me for all that I am” and Aksel wrote the song from that. Ronny, Aksel and Frida also made the music (lyrics by Baby Fuzz) regarding “I’m still holding out for you”. I am aware of the stories and rumors surrounding this song too. However, I was told by Ronny (again) that her family actually wanted her to sing/release this song, but Ronny and Aksel spoke against it. Also, it was more of a stylistic issue, the song didn’t really fit well with Angelina. They did three recordings of this song, two in December of 2016 and the one that was leaked was recorded on January 3rd 2017. Regarding the lyrics, they already changed some for Angelina’s demo version... they could just as easily have changed the ending part too, if it was an issue. The reason it was taken down was because Angelina’s family had not been given permission to make the demo public, so when it was leaked, they had it removed due to risks of copyright infringements. But, Brandon (Baby Fuzz) really liked Angelina’s version, so he allowed it to stay on RUclips. All this information comes directly from everyone involved. I also spoke with Brandon Lowry (Baby Fuzz) about this song and he doesn’t seem to understand why there is any controversy surrounding the song. Angelina did the demo in 2017 and didn’t release it due to the song not being the right stylistic choice (which also could explain why she did not sing it again) Ronny and Aksel told Brandon that they did the demo with Angelina, but he wanted to record and release the song himself. There are many theories as to why it was "LEAKED", but seems the original artist, Baby Fuzz, had only released a demo and it was never officially released. So the song was written and produced by me and a few friends in Norway. Her mom didn't want her 10 year old daughter singing this and since it is such
an exceptional performance, we can only guess as to the reason? She, being 10,
may have not been ready for the acclaim this song being released would bring.
There is a mention of a self drowning remark about being willing to hold her head
under water for the object of her desires in the song and her mom has proven very
concerned about lyrics that were supposed to be uttered in other songs when she
was young, which had to be changed in many instances. This may very well have
been a similar case.
I do believe it is that subject matter that her mum didn't want her singing about. Which is weird because she let her go on norways got talent and sing gloomy Sunday which is based on the same subject matter.

sad song, with regard to lyrics, and nothing more severe than that, and this
is why she allowed her to sing it. Your incorrectly mixing apples with oranges, so to speak. In fact, when questioned by a judge at NGT, regarding the content, Angelina said that 'Gloomy' was a sad song, which
was an accurate evaluation, but contained nothing more severe than that.
Why it's referred to in some circles as 'The Hungarian Suicide Song' is
beyond me? I don't hear anything about 'suicide' in the lyrics and if some
people associate 'Gloomy' with that, to me it's a huge 'stretch', which even
'strict' mama Sara had to have agreed with.

He sent this to her as a demo for her new at age of 10. it is a home recording studio and never released it because he wait for him to come in but he never did and it leaked. He got leaked out by somebody in her crew and maybe for the head of the license or a copyright. He said he dropped it in their yard. It’s never been published.
