He was meant to be a corruption of a kids show character, but for some reason when he first appeared on air, actual kids loved him and he became the really successful being the opposite of what he was intended to be.

0:32 okay the Tellytubbies is way scarier than Mr Noseybonk & Mr Blobby. Okay Mr Noseybonk is pretty terrifying but that is Ashen’s fault for making The Return Of Mr Noseybonk. Mr Blobby is really tall and has a pretty odd face but the Tellytubbies are way more scarier. I mean just look at them, they have: a pale white face, dark black eyes, no nose, and a mouth that barely even moves. Heck, Elmo is also quite scary (I have a phobia of him). His eyes, fur and his mouth just creeps me out big time!!

jack for the most part is (with no intention to get all po-faced and preachy), and i will allow that he is only acting, traumatised (it isn't amongst the most complex of behaviours to fake). if this were an overblown issues drama about the mental scars from childhood claudia would be cradling jack and begging them to stop "can't you see how this is getting to him!?"
(Jack would probably look up from such treatment with a contented grim to break the tension though... )
it is still damn funny though, jack isn't exactly hiding under the desk for the whole segment and we are all most thankful for the high quality uploads

NEED BLOBBY HELP! My wife is having a 90s themed Birthday party in June next year. I'm going to turn up half way through the night, unbeknownst to anyone, in a Mr. Blobby costume. I intend to hit it just as hard as this too (will prewarn the staff)! Although my problem is that I can't find a way to mimic the voice. There doesn't appear to be a specific voice changer available for purchase or anything. Any ideas? 🙏
