    Hi Batel
    Thank you for this recipe.
    I just cooked it for my wife and she loved it! You know what they say "happy wife happy life" :-D
    The tahini dejon dressing idea was great.
    A little correction in your instructions in the tahini dressing section where I think you forgot the olive oil 🙂 which was in the video.
    All the best!

    What a beautiful dish, thank you! My wife is vegetarian, loves tahini, and I am always looking for great options that will surprise her. I can make these while reverse searing a nice steak for myself and enjoy some as a side dish as well. Thank you again!

      @@batelskitchen She loved it. In fact, I made the mistake of tossing out what was left on the pan and the remainder of the Tahini dressing that night since we left it out while getting the kids ready for bed. She was digging in the fridge on Sunday expecting to find it only for me to have to break the news to her hahaha. She said it's her favorite thing I've ever made. I told her "well that's good, because it was one of the easiest dishes I've ever made!" I promised her I'd make it again this week. I am looking forward to trying it prepared in different ways as well, such as on the grill, smoker, etc. Thanks again!

    How can I make this ahead for thanksgiving, please help

    • @batelskitchen
      @batelskitchen  9 месяцев назад

      Hi there. I must admit that this recipe is best served as fresh as it can possibly be. However, here are some options I can think of:
      Cut and clean the cabbage a day or two prior to the meal, place it on a ziplock bag in the fridge. If you have a big fridge, place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and cover until ready to bake. Make the tahini ahead of time. Even 2-3 days early. If you are not stressed with time, you can covet the cabbage tray with foil, and let it sit in the oven while other dishes are baking, and then to finish it off with a nice color, remove the cover and roast for 10-15 minutes more. I hope these ideas will help 🙏. Happy Thanksgiving. Thanks for watching this video!

    What's with the over washing of the cabbage, that's just over kill 🤔

    • @batelskitchen
      @batelskitchen  11 дней назад

      @@collywobbles1163 it adds a very nice saltiness to the cabbage, and more importantly, it cleans it really well. You do you. You can skip it if you want.
