Everyone be talking shit about the 1JZ over a Sr20 or a RB, TBH I love the RB26 but you cant hate on the Jz bro, if you know anything about tge drift scene you should know that a Jz into any driftcar is normal. Most drifters juse Jz engines because you can boost the fuck out of em and abuse the fuck out of them and be able to find replacement parts. Oh and btw 1JZ is from a Toyota chaser not supra LOL.

Only jdm mark 3 supras had the 1jzgte.

why nobody has tried to make a skyline out of this s14 or 240sx??
All the people who say why a 1jz well here's the factual reason why 1jz makes the same power as an rb26dett and more torque from the factory, plus the cost is 500 to 800 for a complete long motor, whereas the rb26 costs 4 times this for an engine that has less torque and shit reliability, broken oil pump drives, bottom end bearings, the reason the r32 gtr is quicker than a supra is 4 wheel drive vs rear, s14 weighs 1200kgs so power to weight would smash a gtr.
If you don't have facts and are a ricer politely fudge off, rb26 is a decent engine, but not worth the money to buy or make reliable, then you have the mighty 2jz which makes more torque than a r34 rb26.
Toyota engines own all.

You do need to say more, tell your friend to put that engine back in the Supra it came from. Besides the novelty, there is no point in this. Nissan has plenty of easier and cheaper swaps that will give you more power with more available parts. so yes, plenty more to say.

I like some of the rolling shots and pan shots, but after watching the video I'm just disappointed that there were no shots of the engine bay. When you title the video S14-1JZ I'd like to see the 1JZ, not just the S14.

Everyone's got their own opinion, I have seen both engines be modded to push over 1,000hp and i also have seen the Mines R34 on the track, they can be very nice if done right.

I started doing research on the S13 S14 S15 and skylines I don't know much about these cars because they're very rare in Canada if I've seen one its been imported to Canada anyways I had no idea the S14 were made left hand drive does anyone know if I could find a left hand drive S14 in America and how much are they selling for I'm looking for one the exact same in this video feedback would be appreciated thanks I also love the wheel set up and full kit on the car can someone tell me what kind of kit is on this car
I ove the car and all. it looks fantastic! no offense, but imo the s14 is the s14 because of what nissan's technology had i would have think the rb26 would have been the better engine swap and not toyota's inline 6. if you want a 1jz than you buy a mk3 supra, but don't look to jz a nissan... im just saying. unless you're using the engine for a drag strip or serious track racing, than that would have been understandable..

Man, i'm in a big debate with myself. I don't know if I should look at getting a S13/S14, 300ZX, Integra, Prelude, Civic, RSX-S, or just wait until my birthday and get a Genesis Coupe. I really want a Nissan, but Integras are pretty cool too. I'm just afraid of it getting stolen. And NO, guys. I will not rice it out. Whatever car I end up with will have minor exterior mods, carbon fiber trunk if it's FWD and no spoiler, and I just wanna focus on performance. Any advice?

Every car has it's own good and bad points. But calling us noobs, is just wrong. Many Nissan owners build their Skylines and Silvia's from the ground up. We mod our Nissans, we MAKE it fast. If I would have a M3, I would be too scared to work on it, since it was so expensive. Being able to say I built my own car, already makes it better than any M3/M5 in my opinion. And be honest, a less powerful stock GT-R beat the M3 GTS around the Nurburgring Nordschleife. GT-R=7:19 M3 GTS=7:48
