Bern was actually the first Yonkersonian to come forward publicly with eyewitness testimony of Cultic ritual activity in Untermyer Park.
Her story takes place in 1976, when she was just a little girl and saw something in the Gate House she never forgot.
Bern quickly became an enduring fan favorite last year, and this was the video that kicked it off.
I just love Bern and her stories of growing up in this area! What memories! Wild!
I remember playing on the Aqueduct and then onto my a park as a kid. I lived in Warburton and we’ll go up there with friends in the early 90s
I love these walks. Even without discussing SOS, they're so educational and fun. Someday I'll get to this park. It's fascinating.
Thanks Lydia. Of course last year we kinda thought this stuff in Untermyer was SOS related but now we know it was a wholly separate phenomenon worthy of it's own avenue of research. Untermyer Park has been liberated from SOS and to me it's even more interesting now. Who were these people and why were they doing this stuff?
This was a classic thanks for re-uploading it Manny!
You are very welcome Dave.
a stunning park, with stories to tell !
Great video bud.. I’ll be going there next month. I’ll be using your videos to guide me around.
Cool man. If you have any questions put them here.
Great chat . . .the gardens are stunning.
A sweet walk and talk with pretty Bern! Thanks, Manny, and I think your growing beard looks good on you! ❤
Thanks Norma-JEan. This was last year but thanks for the compliment anyway.

Watching a second time round, brilliant interview with Bern awesome ✨️✨️✨️
Bern is an interesting person a great guest. Her memories of undermyer park back then is awesome.
But who is Sam Hayne?
no clue
The park is a beautiful place, especially on that sunny afternoon, interviewing Bern and your knowledge of plants, it couldn't really get much better.
Wishing you good fortune always.
Bern is right , the park was really nice to explore as a young kid with the fountains etc by the time we were teens it was not cared for
Blackout was 77
I just don't believe that Berkowitz was in a cult. He was a loner and way too isolated. Apparently there were cults, but, if he were in one, he would have bragged about it-he didn't.
We agree. Berkowitz was a lone nut. No cult at all. This was an old video that we made way before we realized we were conned by Maury.
