Purging inventory as we speak. Great video to reinforce what I am doing.
Love that Notre Dame flag you have hanging! Go Irish!
Great info! Thanks!👍👍
Glad it was helpful!
Another "P" is Pictures/Photos. You kinda mentioned it at the very beginning but didn't put it in the breakdown. Update your pictures.
"My space is kind of a mess right now". hahahahaha!!!!! Your space is amazing and something to aspire to. Lots of helpful tips. Great job.!
Great Video Kevin. Thanks
Thanks for watching
I love your insights on things. You really put a different spin on how to look at things.
Thanks so much Mark.
I’ve been doing very well selling locally on FB Marketplace lately. I’m moving and trying to purge most of my larger items, or stuff that I just want to flip fast. Love it.
That is awesome!
Instead of using the word tweak, use proof as in proofread. And then call it the 5 P's. LOL
This is a great video I'm going to refer my viewers to your video.
Thanks so much. I just subbed because I love to see some Canadian reselling.
@@commonwealthflipper thank you.
Very informative video. You can also Purge it by selling it to a consignment store or Thred Up etc.
Great tip!
For old inventory, I give it away in bundles on my local Facebook page. I run / administer the site and I normally use it for selling locally, but I also give things away on there to attract attention (advertise) and cause goodwill in my local group.
Nice. Love it. Thanks so much.
As always Kevin, good info.
Thanks 👍
We have started cross posting to Mercari and sales have been amazing.
Good to hear.
Another great video with such great information. Thank you
Great advice! I don’t know why I had to go “P” after this video. 🤷🏻♀️😂💕
Awesome recommendations Kevin. Appreciate your knowledge and experience.
Excellent tips!
I absolutely adore the "babies" peeking out from behind the paper holder. Do I need to have receipts (for taxes) for every little thing I buy to sell or use in shipping?
I keep receipts for everything that I get from Goodwill and estate sales and for all other business expenses. I don't from garage sales.
@@commonwealthflipper RockstarFlipper takes receipts with him on which he writes the location of the yard or garage sale and the amount he spent. He also keeps a receipt for cash taken out of the bank to use at sales and gets a receipt for the unused money he puts back in the bank.
Loved the change of view. Now change of view and hat off would have confused everyone 🤣🤣🤣 Shipping is still my biggest learning curve, it is continuous and I appreciate anytime you add shipping comments in content. Thank you Kevin.
Just keep watching and keep at it. You will be a pro in just a short time.
How long is too long to hold onto something?
I will answer that question at length in the q and a video on Friday. The short answer is do you have the space and if you are paying to relist it each month.
'One of these things is not quite the same, one of these things is not like the others.' yes, I caught that...
This has nothing to do with this topic, but I was looking at your store and wondered why you don't list a shirt for which you have different sizes available as a single listing with size variations.
One counter-intuitive thing to try is reduce the quantity of an item, the "last one" flag can trigger a sale where if you have 100 left there is no rush to buy.
yup.
One other thing... Changing from flat shipping to calculated shipping for USPS Priority Mail items. With calculated shipping, you effectively lower the price to those buyers who live closer to you. I think with newer Ebay sellers (me included), it seems easier to use a flat shipping price. But someone who lives in your area of the country can see a $2-3 savings (at no impact to you) with calculated shipping.
I would love to see a video detailing how you do bookkeeping. You’ve got about 20 times the inventory than I do, and I still get overwhelmed by it.
I really don't do much. Keep track of the buy cost and sales prices, as well as expenses. The rest is tracked on paypal and ebay.
Another possibility is allowing foreign sales if you don't, or competitively pricing foreign shipping by using Pirateship simple export if appropriate if you have GSP currently. Using Pirateship prices with a little extra handling has increased my foreign sales a lot. Simple export adds tracking for free to lots of countries.
Using the eBay tools pushes your listings up, giving your item more eye balls. Such as promoted listings or best offer, eBay wants the inter action with the possible buyer, because of course they will make money too. Nothing is free.
I see those creepy dolls hanging out back there. Ha!
Yup. Scray little things.
My time leans more towards Insanity. But to each their own.lol.🇺🇸😷💚
You make a lot of money from Mercari. I have to suffer through their advertisements every time I watch your videos.
Hi Kevin it's Ryan again I just wanted to give you an update on my comment that I left the other day. I was trying to see if you could do a video on Vero words but it seems as if you might be too busy. My account got restricted 2 days after I asked you. I guess I found out another Vero word On My own by misusing it. I just wanted to give you a heads-up that the word Play-Doh and Play Dough is owned by Hasbro company. What I did wrong was I listed a lot of generic Play-Doh the brand name was actually called DOUGH. I labeled it as Play-Doh in my listing because I was assuming that Play-Doh was a term of a product not a brand name. Just want to give you and anyone else a heads up that if you list Play-Doh you may not call it Play-Doh unless it is actually Play-Doh from Hasbro. Unfortunately I didn't know that and my account is restricted for 3 days. So three words that I found on my own are. The word Play-Doh is owned by Hasbro no questions asked. The word velcro may not be used on eBay whatsoever. And the word onesie may not be used in a listing. Crazy but true. I hope all is well. -Ryan
