Yeah, loved seeing how you fell for these guys. They are rather fab. Their lives are brill and they are big in Japan and so do a lot of their tracks in Japanese also. Future, Crying in the Rain, Shadow are ones I love.

They are the first Korean idol band debuted in 2007. They are well known in Korea for the rock ballad genre. Their debut song 18 years ago ‘s still charting in Korea. Besides rock ballad, their pop rock/pop song were all famous. However, after they changed their style to rock which was the style they really wanted to do, their popularity is decreasing as Korean dont like rock.
They were very popular in Japan as well and their Japanese singles are much more rock. Recommend ‘Shadow’
I recommend the Killing voice FTISLAND video as you can see how their music changes throughout their career.

I think the girl in the music video is supposed to represent them in a sense!! I've always felt like the music video alludes to breaking tradition.. The young lady is “conformed” to society but ends up going against the norms, maybe. It makes sense considering FTISLAND never really had the creative freedom to make rockier songs in the past because their company dictated their style & sound, usually softer pop rock/ballds which are considered "friendly" songs for the Korean public... This song is their 'sound revolution' where they break free of the company's grasp and make the music they actually want to be making

I love this group, they have interesting creativity in different genres
if you want to listen to Korean hard rock, try listening to a track by another group Diablo - VOICE OST. I couldn’t find the clip, it’s in the mix of all versions of the track Voice. I like all versions and the scream hard rock version has its own charm. it starts at about 10 minutes Diablo - VOICE OST ruclips.net/video/Z155PtshtZ8/видео.html each version reflects the mood of the season (this is the soundtrack) I like version 2 best
