My Mom and Dad took me to The Osmond concert in Detroit in 1972. I was twelve then. I made a special book for Donny and walked up to the stage and handed it to him. He bowed down and gave me a kiss! At the Panchotrain. ❤️
Sitting here listening to this and I suppose I can say that this video appeared out of nowhere during a rough time that I'm going through. Trying to fight back the tears all morning and this helped me finally just let it go. I needed a release and it looks like it was provided for me. The problems are still with me but a good cry helped. God bless the world all of you who are going through something.
The humility both men displayed was soul satisfying to watch. The mutual respect was so characteristic of both men. Donny, the more experienced performer in terms of years, still graciously took the harmony part so that Nathan’s highly refined voice could be fully appreciated. Nathan graciously allowed Donny to set the tone and mood. Though I am sure this was a mutually prepared performance, seeing Nathan’s sheer joy at the end and Donny’s reciprocation elicited a strong gratitude for more than the music. These men share faith, identity, and testimony that transcends their careers. Truly they are brothers, eternally, expressing love of God and Christ-that’s what made it so electrifying! Thank you, Donny and Nathan, Mac Wilberg and The Orchestra at Temple Square, for all your individual and collective efforts so that this moment could be so uplifting.

The Peacock was a great choice on Unmask. MJ was gracious to offer you such an idea ... (if it helped you understand a concept or goal well worth it). However, you don't need. In fact invite Marie to join you some day in Vegas or Christmas special or where ever you get the chance. The Osmonds (and Jacksons) have captured hearts with your melodies.
