Gate Clerk Job Description Video

The Gate Clerk is responsible for inspecting trailers, chassis, and containers that enter and leave the intermodal rail yard through an automated gate system.
The Gate Clerk will utilize a computer system to ensure proper billing is performed on each unit and will provide customer service support to over-the-road truck drivers entering and leaving the rail yard.
