In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful and Compassionate The Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “All of my Ummah (spiritual community of believers) will be safe from their sins except the ‘mujahirin’ (those who publicize their sins). It is a type of publicization that a person commits a sin at night, and though Allah screens it from the public, then he comes in the morning and says, ‘Hey so-and-so, I did such-and-such evil deed yesterday,’ while he had spent his night screened by his Lord (none knowing about his sin) and in the morning he removes Allah’s screen from himself.” [Bukhari; Muslim] There are many things we don't know. I recommend everyone to learn 2 interpretation of this Hadeath.

As long as you are breathing you have a chance to turn back to Allaah ﷻ and Repent for your wrongdoings. Do your level best to remove as much of what you publicized if you are able to. Remember Allaah ﷻ is the most Forgiving and Merciful and he loves to forgive, so do not despair in the mercy of Allaah ﷻ. Also follow up your repentance with good/righteous deeds and Allaah ﷻ will replace your sins with good deeds. You can also give in charity to a Sadaqa Jariyah (An On Going Charity That Others Will Continue to Benefit From) like donating to a Masjid, Building a Well, etc. May Allaah ﷻ forgive myself and yourself and the believers all together. We all have our shortcomings and wrongdoings, but the Best of Us are those who return back to Allaah ﷻ and strive to do all of that which pleases him. May Allaah ﷻ ease your affairs and make it easy for you to leave off any sins that you do so that he may replace it with something Soo Much Bstter! Aameen!

You are wrong. It is worse to commit sins in private. Your good deeds will be erased even your salah according to a Hasan Hadith.
