I did a community college course a few years ago to top on an existing qualification. Found the classes great, tutors were fantastic but 99% of the students were idiots. One of them got so worked up at the fact you have to fill out about 15 pages of forms to get into the number one university in the country...Not a privilege a lot people get awarded. So I find these idiots would like a job in a philosophy office, you know? Cause they exist.

I've never met a person (I know, this is just anecdotal) who didn't have an "in" into the job they have. Either they got it because of someone they already know in that job, or it was a job that they got after doing a school practicum or internship... But I am against hiring just to fill a quota of minorities or women, etc.
I agree that having a connection to the job you want is important - but that can only keep you there for so long before your inability to do the role shows you the door. I am not sure if individuals truly understand just how damaging "diversity hiring" is. Hire on qualification - therefore your process is blind to any other factors that do not positively contribute the company's bottom line. But, as long as the government provides tax breaks and other rewards for hiring diversity (which I am not against by any means) this negative trend will continue.

That money comes from EVERYONE'S tuition and contributions. I just now realized people who are wanting safe spaces for a certain group of people are going against what they want. They say that they don't want to be discriminated against. Yet they want a place where only that one type of person is allowed.
What is a safe space to me? Well it's somewhere comfy and warm, where crocodiles, wasps and velociraptors can't get me......

I have a safe space at work, in the corner where I can fart in peace and no one complains about it ^_^
I go to the university of South Florida. The problem is that these sensitive people aren't going to be able to hide for every. The workplace isn't going to set up an alcove so someone can feel safe. On the subway, no one is going to make sure they aren't being "micro aggressive". They all need to grow up.

It is NOT to protect people from having their feelings hurt, or from being chastised by others for speaking up, or even from private censorship.
I'm Asian-American and people have been asking me where I'm from all my life AND IT IS NOT A FUCKING MICRO-AGGRESSION. I can't imagine shutting someone down, shaming them and making them feel like a racist when they are simply curious and showing an interest in my life.
These colleges are getting so out of hand that they won't let in comedians like Chris Rock because they're god forbid "politically incorrect". They will only let in harmless, generic comedians with puppets who won't offend anyone. These babies are in for a rude awakening when they get out into the real world and feel offended and victimized every day because their experience at college was like being in the Twilight Zone. I have no idea how this shit started but entire generations are being brainwashed. All we need in this world are more disgusting SJW's like Annaliese Nielson.
