"I'm smelling my dior homme intense. Leave me alone mom." 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"what are you doing in there?"
I feel that
I have the same reaction when I smell Dior homme intense😂
I always keep 200ml bottle of dior Fahrenheit in my car just in case I run out of ⛽️
How do you keep the integrity of the fragrance
@@datadata7144 bro... lol.
@@datadata7144he was making a joke that it smells like gasoline. Or petrol as the Brit’s call it.
Dior being the top win is a given. I actually felt the same way. Diors got so many amazing frags in its house.
@@lakeconroehouse My guy, I can’t take you serious when you can’t even spell the word “or” correctly. “Our” isn’t what you want to use in this context lol.
@@Q_N- my guy, I can't even take you serious when you show no respect to non-native English speakers.
I am not a native English speaker, but I speak 3 languages. I bet if you had to write anything in my language, you would also make spelling mistakes. So perhaps next time try not to judge people on simple spelling mistakes?
Dior does have some Masterpieces. I Love Dior Homme Intense, Tobacolor and I would love to get my hands on Dior Homme Parfum.
@@Chris6815 Same here, the prices are wild on those. Going from as low as 185$ for a 50ml, to nearly 500$ for a 100ml. Insane 🤦♂️
I know it's hard to put all of the brands in one video but imagine Givenchy and Guerlain in there... We need a part 2.
The OCD in me loves that you rearranged the Prada to be symmetrical lol
I truly believe that if Armani Code Absolu wasn’t discontinued it clears every other fragrance in the designer realm. Pure masterpiece
@@fiveduece52 I can’t get behind this take at all. But to each their own. I’ve got some wild takes too
@@fiveduece52 For it’s time it definitely was something new. I do not like to argue scents, as everyone’s nose is different. I’d take anecdotal evidence and say most people who have smelled it prefer it to similar scents.
And they cannot go and easily find it, as it’s discontinued. This isn’t something such as sports, where “this or that” is so easily distinguished as better. And I’d like to remind you that before you re-iterate your opinion that is not shared by most others
I was just going to write, Armani Mania was possibly their best and they discontinued it 😔
Armani is my favorite house. I made sure to stock up on Absolu when I heard it was being discontinued and Profumo also.
This was the best series i have seen so far. Amazing video. Please if posible do a niche version.
I like this video format. Would be cool to see different brands competing and/or with different factors they are competing over
This was a great video, nice break from the usual breakdowns/reviews, just some fun on the weekend!
Plus, we just like watching Ash squirm in self- conscious discomfort 😂
Great video with some great choices in there and I enjoyed it and have a blessed day
Glad you enjoyed
Based on my collection, it's clear my favorite designer houses are Dior, Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana.
I haven't seen many of your videos in a while. Love your new studio!
I really enjoyed this concept and appreciate your opinion
Chanel is always going to be great, it’ll smell fantastic and the performance will be equally as fantastic. But, Chanel doesn’t take chances. Chanel never gave us an iris or oud fragrance, excluding their private line. I wish they would be a little more daring.
Chanel is the Volvo of perfumery...
@@DerDop More like the Rolex of Fragrances. Everyone knows them, they make great stuff, but neither really colors outside the lines. Nothing wrong with either, I love and have both, but as a fraghead, it'd be hard to JUST have Chanel.
@@DerDop 💀
The performance of Channel allure sport is fantastic? Since when?
@@jimlittle5769 rolex colors outside the line sometimes. And it is flashy, something Channel deff is not.
I think the Volvo analogy is apt. Volvo makes reliable, safe cars that are trustworthy and quality is superb. It are not the most unique or groundbreaking cars, but it is for people who are not going for that flashy in your face stuff.
I wanna see more videos like this where you group a bunch of fragrances together and compare them to other ones
You are definitely my favorite RUclips channel for fragrances. Just next level. I know I can trust your opinion. Thank you.
personally i'd have put ADG profumo, 1Million Prive and edition blanche into their respective brand lineups, but i mostly agree with these. great vid!
Great video my Guy, have some fun
Loved this video review. I’m new to fragrances and because of your videos I’m now checking out some other stuff.
My first purchase was Calvin Klein’s CK Everyone and then Dior’s Sauvage EDT and then the Sauvage EDP.
I’d love a video talking about Unisex scents.
I love CK EveryOne though 👍🏻
Cool video idea! Would love to see a similar video with Tom Ford, Parfums de Marly, Aqua di Parma or similar fragrance brands
feeling the same like you as soon as holding Dior Homme intense in my hands 🥰
Wore it a couple days ago. We had a coolish, rainy day amongst a bunch of hot days, and I'm like YES, time to break out Dior Homme Intense!
i like the editing it helps imagine the smell
I thoroughly enjoyed this video
Really cool video! I guessed that brand was gonna win before watching
Love the new crib background. We just need more Chelsea!
Great video 💪 Reminiscent of when you're testing fragrances and but you only have the bucks to pay for one so you test and think until your brain is fatigued.
The Winner for me is Armani. It’s the one line that I actually have the most of from Code, edp,Profumo and Absolu. Then Stronger With You Absolutely and Aqua Di Gio Profundo. The Next closest is Versace with Man Eau Fraiche, Pour Homme,Eros edp, The Dreamer and lastly Dylan Blue which is my least favorite.
I might be almost alone on this, but I would have loved to see Gucci guilty absolute in there. Love that one. To bad it's discontinued but I have a back up bottle!
If I could only have one brand right now, it would be Chanel. I don't have enough experience with niche houses, so I can't choose a niche brand.
And Chanel is a great choice. One could have an amazing collection with just that house. Right now I have five from Chanel and five from Dior. Those two houses combined represent a bit over 20% of my collection, and 25 houses are represented in my collection.
PDM is the niche Chanel
@@innovationinaction5406 IMO, that's partially true. They do make quite a few mass-appealing fragrances, but they go outside the lines every once in awhile. A top quality house for sure, like Chanel, and definitely the best recommendation for someone diving into niche for the first time.
@@innovationinaction5406 Xerjoff is the niche Dior.
@@innovationinaction5406 Yupp I love PDM but boy they are expensive..lol
honestly if i could only use 1 fragrance brand would be dior even not including the private line
This is a fun exercise! I like YSL, but IMO no way it wins out over those three Chanel you put up. The Chanel trio was my favorite trio you presented.
Now, my three favorite Chanel in my collection are BDC Parfum, Platinum Egoiste and Edition Blanche. When I compare my favorite Chanel trio to my favorite Dior trio in my collection: Homme Intense, Homme Parfum and Sauvage Elixir, THAT is a tough choice for me...and not sure I can pick a winner...probably Dior, because Homme Parfum and Intense are masterpieces.
Great video! Interesting: I really agree with you on most scents.... But I'm against the grain with Prada Luna rossa black. I personally don't enjoy it much.
He should have put Prada homme intense in there. That stuff is amazing. It was my scent of the day yesterday and I can't get enough of that beauty!
I loved the last minute of this video, the epilogue where it makes all sense.. 😂pleased to hear that chanel was right there among the top.. 😅
The video wasn’t too long, well thought out, dope video
Thank you
Great vid, do more battles like this 👍
IMO Dior #1
Thanks! Will do!
I've really taken depth into consideration with my favorite designer house. This house has a million releases, and none of them have missed, mine's YSL
Dior hands down. And if there was a moment where I would even consider YSL or JPG in the running, Dior has the Ace kicker in Eau Sauvage
Lots of people have something against Dior Sauvage, because so many people wear it. But all that shows is that this is a very very nice smelling fragrance that is loved by a lot of people. It is not unique anymore, but it still smells awesome in my book. One of the best blue fragrances
Dior is only number 1, when Chanel calls outta work.😊
@@Bucephalus84 Agree to disagree 😁
jean paul gaultier for me personally ANY DAY!!
Replace the Phantom with Ultrared Man. Then Paco would put up a better fight.
Totally forgot about that one 😂 love it, smells quite unique
One of your greatest videos
Thanks
Funny enough Missoni Wave recently came back in stock at some retailers.
I got an interesting idea, please do for clone version with the same format.
“I don’t even like that I did this video now” 😂😂😂
I hope you can try the Ard Al Zaafaran Al Ramadi please.
Hey man..pls do a video on scentologia Syn-ergy.
Ash! What is the BEST Bleu de Chanel clone?
I love Armani Code for women, its edp . Love it a lot! And D&G light blue forever 🌴🩵
Nearly impossible to pick a winner, but I do have a soft spot for Armani being it was my first frag (code)
You took my idea before i could do it!
I actually like EDT Fahrenheit vs the le parfum. It’s like the parfum really deviated from the DNA to me… if I’m gonna wear Fahrenheit, I wanna WEAR FAHRENHEIT!! Lol
Same
Parfum is great
Lol. I hate the parfum version.
Ash your new set up is slick as f
Thanks
Great content, in the fragrance journey just try to get the best 2 of every line, then you are set for life and done spending $$!
That's not how a fragrance collector works and you know it.
@@innovationinaction5406 One must attain self control.
I could not do that. No way. I need my fragrances like an addict needs his dope.
Nice thumbnail. Is Trussardi making fragrances anymore? Haven't heard anything about them for years.
My three favorite designer fragrances: Dior Homme Parfum , BDC Parfum, Dior Homme Intense. Dior Homme Intense and Dior Homme Parfum are both masterpieces IMO, with the Dior Homme Parfum being my top designer fragrance ever.
Dior Homme Parfum is the best fragance ever, niche or not. In my humble opinion of course 😂😂😂
@@ALARGADORDECU its an amazing fragrance!
@@jimlittle5769 without a doubt.
You baited me with the thumbnail. 😂
Ash, u need to start a GentsScents line, with ur logo as the bottle
Yeah, I think Dior, together with YSL and Chanel will be more specific and masterpice scents
For me, the hardest choice would be between Ysl - Chanel - Dior 🤭😁💯 But most likely for myself I would take Ysl, refined and richer is what I need✊😎🖤💯
Maaaan why did you choose Ultrared for Paco Rabanne, instead of Robot? Would be easy win against Armani
No way you passed on Versace, that’s the best smelling affordable lineup for sure
Ash do this with niche houses
Should’ve just went with their whole catalogs
I’m wearing the heck out of Prada lhomme intense lately
#1 For me, it was Dior when you said a battle between the designer brands, didn't second guess. it was like Dior, of course #1, and my #2 spot is JPG colognes ..
id like to see my fav. brand - comme des garcons against others.
I think i change carbon to the ocean and i'll take prada over all. The most verstaile set for all year around. But would miss my Diors also. 😅
JPG and Armani definetly the best, at least for the fragances chosen there
That was great fun 🎉😂😂😂 watching you suffer was real as it gets these days !! 😂😢😢😂 personally didn’t mind the length of video, no need to apologize especially if viewers made it all the way to the end. ✅👍
What about kenzo and issey miyake, they got some bangers too
I'd have put ocean instead of carbon. armani code parfum instead of armani code. Prada would win though for me since i've never smelled the Stronger line. And for me me Chanel wins period. They make the best fragrances period for me. Thought not all may favs. Top 3. Armani Code Parfum, BDC EDP, Allure Homme Sport EE. Honorable mention to Jazz Club cause i'd be top 3 designer for me, Azzaro most wanted, & D&G Pour Homme, the best D&G for me.
Do ones of ALL brands including Issey Miyake, Guerlain, and Viktor&Rolf.. but where is your actual tier maker???
I need a Versace Man Eau Freche Elixir.
I think you should have had Bvlgari in this but Dior as the winner is the correct choice. I wish Chanel would do a dark scent for men. Antaeus is great but not modern. I would love to see them do a modern dark scent.
Ash what do you think about the Gucci cologne?
I don't what he thinks about it, but to me it is a superb scent. Very original and so classy.
Great video! I think there was a bit of a structure emerging that if formalized would make this even better - head to head you're choosing one freshie, one evening wear and one versatile for each brand. If you then put each category head to head, would make for an awesome series - be it designer or niche!
I think some re-editing may be needed for the video - mainly in the perfume bottle close ups:
1. Prada L'Homme L'Eau shown instead of Prada L'Homme
2. K EDT shown instead of K EDP the first time
3. The One EDP Intense shown instead of K EDP the second time
4. La Nuit De L'Homme EDP shown instead of the EDT...
5. You showed coconut when talking about the Ambroxan note in Sauvage (did I get that wrong?)
Did I miss any? Hope that helps!
I have around 100 fragrances, many famous designer fragrances.
My top 5 will always be.
1) Prada Luna Rossa Black ( Weak projection yes but quality is niche )
2) Versace Eros EDP
3 ) A Men EDT
4 ) Acqua Dio Gio edt OG ( 2006 batch)
5) JPG Le Male le parfum
I agree! Dior all the way. I'm new to fragrance world and Dior Intense is Amazing. Bleu De Chanel, nice but totally overrated. Prada, would be second in my list.
Based on Bottle Count & Fragrance cost, my top 3 are 1) YSL La Nuit De L'Hmme 2) Givenchy Very Irresistible 3) Chanel Coromandel. Niche/indie & Artisan would be a whole different ball game :-)
I had Dior for the win too
Chanel and Dior. Possibly Armani depending on the day
Funny vid. Dior was the obvious choice. Personnaly, mine would have been Chanel. But here we go ! 🙏
I was hoping for Issey miyake, very underrated brand
12:00 DHI crush them all… until DH Parfum features in the video 😂
House for House, i do prefere Versace! But i like Prada Black and D&G The One EDP also...
In the profile pic there is Miyake. Where are they? 😊
Was hoping to see the Givency line
Its funny that i said masterpiece at the same time you said it about Dior Homme Intense 😅
Paco Robanne Victyory Elixir, aint nothing to play with - but I think JPG Scandal takes it slightly though
I'd have loved to see Viktor and Rolph featured.
Guerlain beats out D&G in my collection. But Dior is easily number one.
How about Azzaro.... Wanted, Chrome, Pour Homme.
Chanel deserves a rematch...
Chanel top for me..esp after Antaeus which i bought back in the 80s. Dior 2nd and Azzaro 3rd. Gucci got rid of Envy...bad move..YSL got rid of Jazz ..bad move.. Great video.
This is going to be long winded, I'm afraid. Apologies in advance. So, I have Versace in my top 3, honestly. Probably 1st even. Here are my thoughts. It's not the I think they smell the best, it's just the line, for my uses, is the most versatile. At one point I had over 200 frags and I'm down to about 160, so I've trimmed some fat. I know what I reach for most and what will just sit there. For me, Dylan Blue, Pour Homme and then I would have used Eros EDP, those 3 would knock out multiple brands, IMO. Granted I live in Florida, so for me, Armani's stuff is just overall too rich for many occasions down here. I don't like wearing the original Eros cuz it's too juvenile to my nose(on my skin, love it on girls tho), and IMO, Dylan Blue is arguably the best bang for buck Blue Fragrance there is. Lastly, what can I say about one of Alberto Morias's classics, VersacePour Home is probably the most easy to wear, dumb reach fragrance for the money that comes to mind if someone were to ask 'what is the best dumb reach fragrance'. For me that will always be Versace Pour Homme, but hey, maybe that just means I'm boring. I honestly could, if dared, use just those 3 Versace for an entire year. Not saying I'm not wearing something else right now, but I don't have as much love for that brand as I do Versace, which has gotten me more compliments than any other brand, so it's something I cannot ignore. The only reason I don't have Dior or Chanel ahead of Versace, even though their fragrances tend to be more elevated is bc for one, they're way more expensive, so they don't fall in a place where they're amazing bang for bucks, unfortunately. I'd have Dior Homme Parfum in the lineup for Dior, heck even Dior Homme Sport, bc I love it and am on my 2nd bottle of it, but unfortunately DHP is not only hard to find, it's also not cheap, and I really don't and can't wear Dior Homme Sport to as many places as I can pretty much any of the 3 Versace we're talking about. As for Chanel, I don't care for the Egoiste line, so for me, we're left with Bleu and Allure. Bleu, for me, is one I don't reach for as much as Sauvage EDP, YSL Y EDP or Dylan Blue, so they are left with the Allure line, which, if you really wanted to save money, you could just stick with Versace Pour Homme. Of course they don't smell the same, but as far as the reaching for something bc it does something in particular, these two are in the same family. To me, bc Chanel is so much more expensive than Versace, it keeps it from truly competing and being an option for many. YSL is a close 2nd bc I have Bleu Electrique, Le Parfum, Y EDP and L'homme EDP, but, they don't get anywhere near as much attention as when I wear just about any Versace. I'm not just talking compliments, I mean overall positive interactions as well. So yeah, I think it's going to have to be Versace overall for me. To be clear, I'm on my 2nd 200ml bottle of Y EDP, I just bought a new 200ml bottle of Sauvage EDP, and I'm on my 2nd bottle of Ultra Male, of which my first bottle was 200ml, so I don't necessarily prefer to wear Versace over my favorites in other lines, however I just can't bypass how flexible, useful, cost effective and just overall complete the Versace line is overall.
Channel
Dior
YSL
Prada l'homme intense 😇
from the first minute i knew it gonna be dior for you LOL
Your Chanel selections are a real murderer's row in terms of class and versatility.
Dior hands down. Can’t go wrong.
Armani should've beaten Chanel, the best two here IMO are Armani and Dior. But Dior is in it's own category, it is the best designer house by far.
Chanel and Dior are a cut above all these brands
Y edp, La Nuit De L’homme, and Tuxedo (instead of L’homme).
