thanks. Getting ready to put one in soon so this was very helpful.
Thanks good luck!
We’ve been trying to find a video like this for a long time! So looks like we don’t need a bump out kit like the installers were telling us 🤔
Thank you!
Very good video. Thank you! Is the cabinet depth 15" or 13"? I know they mentioned something else for 15" depth.
Nice job
Thanks rob!
Great video, but everything I hear says no soft/flex vent tube.
We had the exact same question as the one by @carolineperry760 had regarding the bump out kit. We are installing our microwave on the end of a row of cabinets just like in this video. I don't know if the side cabinet is primary reason for the bump out (so the door opens correctly). The installation instructions keep referencing ventilation requirements.
Most of the microwaves are designed to extend past the front face of the cabinet as there is an air vent that sucks air at the front.
That’s the main reason for the bump out but check your microwaves specific instructions, they are all abit different
Great video
Thank you!
It’s been a while since you posted, but do you know what box and venting you used for the venting? Thanks!
Hey Andrew. I believe it was 4”. Measure your opening and get the appropriate vent and then purchase the 4” venting.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for video
Is top of microwave 30 inches
Depends on the microwave but yes the stove and microwave are both 30” wide. Thanks for watching

I meant to ask, "Is top of microwave 30 inches above stove"
Thanks for reply
Folks word of advice, move the stove for 2 reasons, you drop something you are F******D, well your stove will be anyway, and/or your back will be. Good video otherwise
Thanks Willie!
Interesting how he skips right over the parts that I came to this video for... the venting and electrical outlet.
🤬
I have an up coming hood vent video where I show the venting in detail. Stay tuned.
Hire an electrician to install an outlet. Good luck!
