Corvette C8 Carbon Fiber Mirror Install! *SUPER EASY*

Hey everyone, welcome back to Daily Downshift. Today we are installing another modification for the Corvette C8. This one is a genuine OEM part and it was extremely easy to install. We think it turned out incredible and we're excited because we have even more carbon fiber parts coming. We hope you enjoy!

I'm ALWAYS down for Carbon Fiber! Your right, rims are about 10k from Carbon Revolution.
I would love to see a full carbon fiber system that includes side vent accents, wing & ground effects!
I'm going for a 3LZ Z06 w/Z07 package. With Carbon Revolution wheels

The carbon fiber looks great guys. I left my mother is on my C8 body-colored alsohowever, after watching your video I'm a changed mine the way you did. Right now I'm still on the fence but yours looks great!

Looks great. For some reason I thought oem would actually mold the part out of carbon vs just a cover, considering the prices the charge. Still dope though

I love the look, but I’m shocked they are covers and not replacements. That seems counter productive for them being carbon. Oh well. Looks fantastic. Congrats!

I hear ya but I got a mirror chip on my c8 Corvette with only 1350 miles. Looking for nice covers.

@@tee1up495 I’m sorry to hear that. You could also explore Paint Protection Film. My whole car is wrapped including the side mirrors. Could be an alternative solution to buying covers. Honestly, whatever is cheaper and looks the best to you.

Love the Carbon fiber. We have a new 2022 C8 ZR1 Convertible. We have carbon fiber on our 2021 that we want to remove and put on our 2022 mirrors. How we we remove the cover once taped in place? Help! Thanks! Great video.

Chevy option on c8 is the same type of cover. Cost $1000 usd from Chevy. Watched them install as dealer prep on my c8. How much were the covers you put on?
