I've gotta admit, I've never seen anyone put their fingers over the trunk hinge before. Looked as if you were measuring the width of it. Very strange indeed! Btw, did it sell?
love the black, love the 4-speed, hate the silver "Decal stripes", don't like the 305 motor ... How hard would it be to yank that 305 and install at least a 350 ???
I have a 1980,, no offense but after watching you I'm glad mines automatic,, Liked shifting when I was younger just to much to have to do now,,but I wish I had T-top
@@georgespangler1517 too risky when you sink a fortune in the interior then it leaks. I had to be sure to keep it in the shop when it rained. I'll never have another.
@@michaelmclaughlin6 thanks, I'll heard that,,,and also that the body tends to flex also from so much top cut out..now I feel better about mine,,,and plus I traded a old 20 foot boat I had for it,,lol,,,was asking 3000 for the boat and the young kid traded me even up.
I have a 1979 z28 ttops and that's what makes the car! That and the 4 speed.... with hagerty insurance your only driving summer anyways.... not sure why people trash t-tops by they are fun in my book😉
I just built a 45 pickup with 305 will high flow heads it's a running bitch,,,with Google gas mileage. And more toruge then 350 and sounds better at idle.
Nice Camaro, I had a 1980 Z28 that was midnight blue and gold w/ tan interior. Sure miss her!
Wow. Really well preserved. Beautiful.
Stunning!!!!
WOW , LIke to have the Chevelle too !
Amerika ist immer superb !

Is it still available...or is it sold ?.
I am sorry, but this Camaro has been sold.

neat car.cant find a price.
Probably around 20 k.
No power 305. Will barely chirp the tires with a four speed. But it is a great looking car.
What transmission is that?
Could be a Muncie, but being an '81, its more likely a Saginaw, either way 4sp in a black 81z is special
@@chuckwhitson654 Muncie ceased production in 1974. It's a Saginaw(unfortunately).

Mine had t top. Looks good but bad about leaking. Be glad you dont have them. I have talked to others who had the same problem.

Oh if I could afford it
It has no air conditioner
Drives like a little old lady.
Was about to say, wtf man let's go! Geez the boring driving videos, nobody ever drove a Z28 4-speed like that, not even going to church! 😀
Nice car, wimpy 305
You can only get 305 Ina 4 speed.
GM did that bc of SCCA rules.
And no 350 in CA .
350 4sp was available in Canada.
I have 81 305 4sp . runs good.
O
no a/c. :-(
