I just want to thank you for posting this video. I've never done any car stereo work myself so I watched it like 6 times before replacing the blown sub in my 4runner. Took me like 2 hours (removing trim was a pain like you said) but it works great! Highly recommend the Pioneer 8" sub for any 4runner owners out there. Thanks!
NO DRILLING REQUIRED!!! Turn the Sub 2 notches counterclockwise from the Pioneer symbol being even and all holes match up perfectly! Aside from that, thank you so much for the video! Very informative...
Just did this this replacement a couple of hours ago and this video was very helpful. Didn't have any trouble with finding the + and - because I could see the symbols on the old and new subwoofer terminals. Instead of snipping the wires, I kept the end pieces intact by just tearing the plastic housing off. Then I used some pliers to narrow the end pieces enough to fit perfectly inside the new woofer's terminals. I didn't replace the amp, but man does that bass sound a heck of a lot better. I've been riding around with a blown subwoofer for almost half a year. Thanks again for the video! Yal saved me a lot of money!
Holy Toledo! Thank you for a great how to video. I just replaced the sub with the same one that you used in my 03 Limited. I bought it a year ago and I had no idea how good the JBL Synthesis could sound.
Just heard some vibration going on at the cargo area of my 4runner while I had my music playing. Thank you for making this video in order to help me replace my first subwoofer on my 4runner.
When you took out the JBL subwoofer, did it happen to say anywhere on it how many watts it was? I'm curious of the wattage difference between it and the Pioneer.
Great video. To save some additional time...the seatbelt bolt is a 14mm and the rest are all 10mm. You'll need a shallow depth sub. I bought a Rockford Fosgate Punch P3SD2-8. It fit perfect and sounds great.
Great video and information but all I did to get to my sub-woofer was to pop out the plastic panel (it is direct above the wheel well and looks like a pistol profile). The clips might break off but it is way easier to replace the clips than to take everything apart. I am not sure if your Toyota has this panel but mine did.
To confirm, you were able to pop off the pistol shaped panel which surrounds the square speaker grate? I was thinking there would have to be a way to get to that to make it simpler. After watching the video, the risk feel worth it.
I will stop by and purchase the TS-SW2002D2 8" woofer today, but just need to know if I can still use the OEM speaker wire harness, or if I need to purchase the METRA 72-6514 harness to make it all work. Thank you in advance.
Thanks so much for creating this. I will be purchasing the Pioneer woofer. I'm just curious, do you happen to know the watts (peak and RMS) of the factory JBL woofer?
I know it's waaaay late, but I think he simply tinned the stripped wires to keep the strands from getting cut and/or spreading out. The Pioneer sub looks to have the spring-push type terminals, that simply pinch the wire for connection. I know Dean is kind to wires, and the tinning adds protection to the smaller individual wire strands.
Really appreciate your taking the time to make this video. My son's 2004 4R had the same problem so I bought the Pioneer speaker that you recommended and replaced the blown one (had big rip!). The problem however, is that while it worked, the volume produced by the subwoofer was is very, very low. I am quite certain that I hooked it up correctly and that the two coils are not out-of-phase (I watched that part of your vid several times!). I don't think that there are any air leaks between the speaker and the panel - but the diaphram simply doesn't move like it does in your test 'bump'. I noticed that you retained the factory JBL power-amp. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.. Thanks again for posting this video.
Doing this tomorrow when the new Pioneer speaker gets here. I have it disassembled now and ready for the install. Does the screen cover fit back over the pioneer speaker, or do I just leave it off?
I think the factory JBL amp is baked in mine. Is that swap pretty straight forward, or is there a special aftermarket amp for these JBL systems? Awesome video, thank you!
Is this Pioneer sub still the one you'd recommend today for this model 4runner? Do you have an amp you suggest pairing with it that would also fit in the sub panel? I've already replaced my deck with a Pioneer 4200-NEX and a maestro. Thanks!
Cool, I just checked polarity of the 4 wires on my Venza, no information on that car anywhere at all. Gotta figure everything out on my own from DSP amp to what wires do what. thnx
Folks, I am on my 3rd 4runner (2003 4th gen, 2010 and 2017, both 5th gen). The '10 and '17 are top-of-the-line Limited (excludes the 4x4) to my 50 year old years the stock sound system sound remarkably (very) good. Both 5th gen 4runners have the JBL systems with 8" sub. When I had the 2010 (1st year for 5th gen) the first mod I wanted to do was to upgrade the system, as I did with my previous cars. I took it to 5 auto-stereo locations. 3 of the 5 recommended NOT to upgrade!! A surprise feedback from stores thats was going to make $1000+ from me. I reflected on their feedback and decided NOT to update anything due to (1) I don't listening to rap music requiring the 'thump' which would eventually blow deteriorate the factory speakers (2) 3 of the 5 techies at the time were thoroughly un-comfortable of the '10 4runner tear-down and electrical layout stick amplification requirements etc due to it's first year gen model (3) and the big reason is, I did not want to change-ou the head-unit due to the native/stock functions required for the car. Long-story-short: I never updated the or made any mods to the '10 4runner - the sound system sounded just fine for my ears. A note to the wise before spending $$$ modifying your sound system - just a few tip from someone who spent thousand$ from previous owned cars and sound-system upgrades. Also note: I am not a DIY guy - I am not confident with my given abilities dive into a project such as this - even though I have most of the tools required to do the job. 1. Decide your budget. if you don't you could very well max out your credit card, quickly. Expect to pay 'cost of item' x1.5 for install and other level of difficulty mark-ups. For example: A pair of door speaker for $100, install cost can be to (but not limited) $150. if you have a factory Bose system - and due to Bose's OEM wiring complexity - the installer can add more $ for his added time. 2. Read-up/research your card make-model. understand the limitations to your car - based on your budget. Example: if you swap your factory speakers to aftermarket, without adding a sub, you system will sound very high with limiting low-end sound. Then, you'll probably have to spend on a aftermarket subwoofer - with an appropriate matching amp. And don't forget about installation cost if your nat a DIY guy/gal. But wait what about your budget. Changing speakers significantly change the imaging of the entire sound. So, do your research: one minor mod may effect other aspects which lead to further mods and more cash$. 3. Don't let the store techie/salesperson influence you in your decision making. Much of these stores are ma-and-pa outlets - and they want your money - and they want it today. I have been a pray to this (in my 20s) and, yes I was a victim to this due to my over expectation and youthful stupidity. Beware of hard-sale sound system recommendation. Go back to basics: What's your budget? 4. Done let your peers distort your decision making process. Buddy1 upgraded his 6-month old 10" JL audio sub to a custom glass-molded twin 2x10" JL audio sub. Buddy1 sold his Alpine 2X100amp to Buddy2 so he can update his Toyota Corolla stock base system with a new 12"Polk. While Buddy1 updates his Alpine, which he sold to buddy2, with a 2x100 Rockford. And it goes on and on, and on etc. Buddy1 and Buddy2 are examples for my friend's kids - and they ear $7.50/hr on a part time job. Buddy1 spent more on his updated sound system than I did on my meds the past year. If updating and your sound system is your hobby and sense of enjoyment - then go ahead - have at it. I spend thousands of dollars a year in golf equipment... and I still suck! A car on average will also you (between age 18-25) may be 4 years; (between age 25-35) maybe 5-6 years; (between 35-45) maybe 6+ years - and on, etc. Most folks who spend money on system upgrades are 30 years old and less. And for many instances, they spend more than their car is worth... food for thought! By the way, nice video and decent tear-down presentation. Only suggestion to the novices; a thorough explanation to the positive/negative reading on the wires while converting the old to new sub. Thanks!
I have a 2008 4Runner with JBL Synthesis. It has a Alpine head unit (ilx-207), 4 Channel Alpine MRV300 and everything else stock. My question is, when you do these, how do you bypass the JBL amp for the mids? Mine seems to have an adapter behind the deck that feeds the subwoofer. Then RCA’s running direct to the alpine 4 channel.
Is this Pioneer sub more or less a replacement of the stock one or is it an upgrade? Looks like it puts out 20hz-200hz. Just curious how this compares to the original? Is it better? Also, do you recommend an additional amp for this sub since it is capable of putting out more wattage?
Jonny right? Thanks for going through the trouble of identifying the wires with a tool no one has and not say what the wire colors ended up being 🤦🏼♂️
Does that sub need a larger volume enclosure? I’m doing the same on a 2006 Land Cruiser, but not sure the volume of my factory enclosure will be enough for the new sub going in.
I have the 2007 4runner but doesn't come with the JBL sustem. I wanted to know if i can install some pioneer mid range speakers like the pioneer TS-A6966R 6X9" Front speaks and pioneer in the rear back door without the addition of the amplifier???
I have a question. I have the black plastic subwoofer box but no sub or amp. I’m going to purchase a 8in sub. Do I have to get a 2 ohm or can I go with a shallow mount 4ohm. Also debating if I want to get a 5 channel amp or 4 channel for the alpine r speakers and an amp for the sub.
you need to find if the 4runner amp provide 2ohm or 4 because is you use a 4ohm speaker on a 2oh amp the output will be lower. And the other way around use a 2ohm on a 4ohm amp will damage the amp.
By any chance have you guys done the under seat woofers in 2006-2013 BMW e90’s (328i,330i,335i)...I cant find any info on people using the stock location with any slim sub’s outside of those vehicle specific woofers. Would this pioneer slim or others like this fit with mild modifications?
this particular model doesn't have a JBL sound system. Only limited edition 4runners come equipped with 15 JBL speakers other than that you get your regular crappy stock speakers
Abinet Tefera didn't you call the sub a jbl at 5:10? I didn't know my 4runner even had that speaker in the side... I'm still not 100% sure it does. Now I want to go check lol
@@Abdagreat251 The 2003 SR5 does have the JBL Synthesis sound system as an option.....I have one ...10 speakers as opposed to the 15 in the limited .. I have the blown subwoofer that is shown in this video
Thank you so much on posting your videos. I watched the video on replacing the rear factory subwoofer in an 03 4-runner. However, it showed a Pioneer system. I was hoping you would let me know the exact model number I could use for the 2 ohm dual cone woofer that will fit with the factory set up. I can only find a 4ohm in the Pioneer IBFlat. thanks Kenny
If you were replacing your dash speakers and door speakers but keeping the factory head unit and amp, what would you choose? Also, how would you add an extra amp to add additional power to this sub?
Alex Dimitry The most important thing to upgrade is the factory head unit. It processes all the sound. Upgrading will give you things like CarPlay, Bluetooth and will provide a big improvement in sound.
Being so underpowered, there's less cone excursion over the same surface area. Is it even as loud? In this instance, I would think sticking a cheap sub back in is a better solution. It's like replacing you pontoon boat with a power boat, but driving it slower than you did your pontoon.
I just replacedthe head unit in my 03 4Runner limited with JBL synthesis. When retaining the factory amp with tyto-01, do u leave surround on on the factory radio before changing out the head unit? I'm getting poor base and sound quality afterwards. Thanks for the vids guys. You helped me decide on my appradio4.
Five Star Car Stereo Eureka!! I have NEVER heard this, and after visiting many forums about my JBL over the last few years, I’ve heard so many people talk about different odd issues, and it would seem the factory radio settings before uninstalling may be the culprit. So... Ive got a 2008 4runner Sport w/JBL. I had a DNX890 for a few years and now have a DNX893s. It has always seemed like my volume could be more, and from 0-40% of volume, there isn’t much change at all. When I set the (integration module), I had to up the volume/gain to even get to that point. I have odd quirks like the left and right channels being switched(my wiring is correct). Rear sub not blown but is weak. Probably some other issues I’m not thinking of... Is disconnecting the battery also a viable option for resetting the factory amp? When I took out my DNS890, I’m guessing the amp also remembered the volume setting? Trying to think to myself, since it’s been a few years since I wired everything, how hard would it be to plug in the factory radio to “set the amp”? I am thinking that it wouldn’t be that bad at all as I believe the factory harnesses were untouched and I had harnesses that I plugged in to those including the steering wheel controls, etc. I will have to check this out as I still have the factory radio. Thanks in advance. Let me tell you, if you made a video for Toyota owners with JBL that outlined my questions above as well as simply informing people of the head jbl unit/amp volume setting issue, you would definitely have some traffic and views. I would link it to the forums as well. Thanks and hope you see this and are able to get back with me/us!!!
Sorry to keep coming with the questions but would the factory amp need to be replaced to justify using a 600W 8" Sub?? (Kicker 43CWRT82 COMPRT8 600w 8" DVC 2-Ohm Slim Shallow Car Subwoofer) Am I gonna see any benefit using this caliber of a sub with the factory amp? Thank you kindly
James Williams no there will be no benefits using this sub on the factory amp. The amp that powers the sub also powers all the other speakers too, so you can just add a bigger sub amp. Depending on how crazy you want to get this can be a deep rabbit hole.
Question: Would that Pioneer subwoofer replace the factory subwoofer on the rear deck of a 2015 Acura TLX? Would I need to use a seperate aftermarket amplifier? Thank you
how would someone go about replacing both the amp & sub on this exact setup? Would it be possibly to just hardwire new equipment while using the original locations?
I'm sad, my sub just blew on my '07 4Runner. I'd change it but I'm not too confident with stereo stuff. Where are y'all located? Maybe when I get back stateside, I can swing on by and have a replacement sub installed?
what's the install time? I'm gonna be in Pensacola come next month and would like to make the drive but don't have a lot of time since I'll be with the Blue Angels
Any way to just unplug this sub from working at all? I have my own subs installed inside my 2003 4Runner and I just wanna be able to unplug the blown stock one since it is causing some distortion with the sound...any way that you can do this without taking the panel apart????? Thanks!
Thanks for the video do you i need to change the woofer on my 2005 toyota sienna xle but i'm not sure how to find the right speaker for it would you mind to guide me alittle please I would really appreciate it thanks
Thank you super helpful video!! What is the gasket tape you are put around the speaker? 3/4" x 1/16"? You make mention of putting foam behind the speaker. Is that a hard foam cut out, or a dampening "stuffing"? Also, can you please elaborate on the wiring ? Looks like there is one positive on either side of the speaker?
Joseph Murin it is a 1/2 foam that comes with the woofer. It is about 1/16 thick. It is a dual voice coil speaker from the factory, so there are 2 positives and 2 negatives. One of each on each side.
hey 5 car guy, i got a 2003 4 runner with a bunk sub-woofer. i tried to install another one and same problem (barely any sound) the one i installed is a rockford fosgate sub. but i notice that the amplifier is getting hot and the voltage in the output wires is less that 0.75 volts whether speaker is on or removed. any clue if its the amp system ?? and how do i identify the wiring color codes ??
+HK DEE does the output voltage go up with the volume? Connect one set of wire to one voice coil on the woofer and check the volume. It should sound ok and have bass. Now connect the other set of wires. If the sound becomes less reverse the wires on that side. It will then play louder.
Thank you for the video...my speaker will stay blown.
DrSW lmao
Stop, it only took like 3 minutes to get it out.
😂😂
DrSW was just thinking the same thing 😓
Haha, why do they bury that so deep?

Spence Overton do you know if the sub you bought was 4” deep? and if so could you link to buying it?
Spence, did you have to purchase a new wire harness to make it all work, or does the stock OEM harness plug-n-play?
NO DRILLING REQUIRED!!! Turn the Sub 2 notches counterclockwise from the Pioneer symbol being even and all holes match up perfectly!
Aside from that, thank you so much for the video! Very informative...
I just left a comment saying the same thing lol

Dylan Stewart thank you for sharing your experience. Glad we could help.
what subwoofer did you get? and how is it to this day?
I don't know if it's the need for a subwoofer replacement talking but this is the best video I've ever seen.
Thank you sir. I blew my factory sub today (2007 4 Runner with the JBL) & grabbed the Pioneer for about $64 from your Amazon link!

On that pioneer the holes actually do line up with fsctory holes as well as factory orginal cover grate
Went ahead and installed the Pioneer subwoofer. Instructions were right on! No more blown woofer. No drilling required.
Can you please tell us which amp 4-speaker cable colors go to which on the the speakers? Thanks!
When you took out the JBL subwoofer, did it happen to say anywhere on it how many watts it was? I'm curious of the wattage difference between it and the Pioneer.
Great replacement for the factory woofer. Only took me about an hour to install. Great video and if your thinking of doing this.. it's worth it.

Seat Belt is a 15mm on mine.
Great video and information but all I did to get to my sub-woofer was to pop out the plastic panel (it is direct above the wheel well and looks like a pistol profile). Which did you end up doing? Did factory wire work, or did yo use the METRA 72-6514 ?
Thanks so much for creating this. I will be purchasing the Pioneer woofer. I'm just curious, do you happen to know the watts (peak and RMS) of the factory JBL woofer?
Is an OEM amplifier good enough for this sub? Does it pump it very well?
Sandr0n thinking the same thing
Find out what ohm load the factory amplifier is running and take a Gamble and run it at 2 ohms if it was at 4 Ohms or 1 ohm if it was at 2 ohms
Good video on replacing the 4runner sub. Could you explain what wires you are soldering? Also, is more wiring on the sub itself necessay?
Yes I am curious too - is it necessary to solder the ends before connecting to speaker?
I know it's waaaay late, but I think he simply tinned the stripped wires to keep the strands from getting cut and/or spreading out. The Pioneer sub looks to have the spring-push type terminals, that simply pinch the wire for connection. Is it possible that you bought the Pioneer subwoofer in a Dual 4 ohm configuration instead of Dual 2 ohm? That would cause the volume to be lower.

So red is positive and black is positive? It’s just that easy? If I mess this up will the sub fry?
Also did the speaker come with a cover?
What did you put behind the speaker, was that tape or foam?
Dual 2ohm? So I need to buy a 4ohm sub? Or is dual 2ohm something special?
Is this Pioneer sub still the one you'd recommend today for this model 4runner? Do you have an amp you suggest pairing with it that would also fit in the sub panel? I've already replaced my deck with a Pioneer 4200-NEX and a maestro. Thanks!
I just ordered it to replace mine. A lot easier than guessing at correct depth and trying to find one that fits.
Does the Pioneer sound better than the stock JBL sub, before it was blown? Does the stock amp able to feed enough juice to the sub?
Did you sauder the lines together?
Cool, I just checked polarity of the 4 wires on my Venza, no information on that car anywhere at all. Gotta figure everything out on my own from DSP amp to what wires do what. thnx
You guys are the best. Your install videos are very entertaining.
Brian Miles thank you very much.
Now that this woofer is discontinued what the best option now?
I have the same problem
@@j7.0_0 Pioneer TS-A2000LD2 is the next best option

Wow, what a PITA! Thanks for sharing! I'd definitely farm that job out...
Any chance for the same video but with a 2010 or newer 4Runner?
do you recommend that pioneer, over a rockford? and do they have similar warranties?
Vom Matador Rottweilers yes the Pioneer works well with the factory power. The P3 would need an amp. I believe they both have a 1 year warranty
Did they stop putting that in the 5th gens? If so I wonder if you could mount a sub there so it doesn't take up space.
Super helpful video. thanks! Followed your instructions. Took about 2 hours.
I know this video is old as hell but do you know if a comprt would be a good fit for this truck, or would I need to get a separate amp to drive it?
its a shame jbl cheaped out on the material. they made some of the best factory speakers in the earlier toyotas
this particular model doesn't have a JBL sound system.
I can only find a 4ohm in the Pioneer IBFlat.
thanks Kenny
you guys are awesome, nice detail on what and why you do
this model is nolonger available. is there a newer model that works?
If you were replacing your dash speakers and door speakers but keeping the factory head unit and amp, what would you choose? Also, how would you add an extra amp to add additional power to this sub?
+Alex Dimitry what car do you have?
I had the same question and I have a 2003 Toyota 4runner sport edition
You can and also turn the volume to 3/4 turn off and then remove.
+Jason Donovan yes it sets the volume input on the factory amp.
+Jason Donovan yes see the tone control flat and the volume at 3/4 of the way up.
Where did you get that kenwood shirt?
How much do you charge in labor for that? (same model and everything)
it's nice how you fit it into the stock location. any idea what kind of sub i would need for my 2008 honda pilot?
It is a 10" sub, kind of. You could use this woofer with an adapter.
Thank you
Would this subwoofer work with the factory Rockford Fosgate stereo in an 03 xterra? I am running an aftermarket head unit also (AVH-4200NEX)
Would a kicker 8 inch 2 ohm subwoofer work as well to replace the JBL oem subwoofer????
That's why I like Toyota...even though the 5th gen replaces the 4th gen 4Runner, the process of getting to the rear subwoofer didn't change one bit!
Hi i have an 2006 Toyota 4runner limited edition would this fit for my back sub
Do you know if the same woofer will work in the FJ Cruiser? thanks
And would this sub be okay or are there better ones that can fit?
Bryan M we have just used the Pioneer for its size and performance. It has worked great for us and is a very common upgrade now.
Does it have to be replaced with a shallow mount sub?
Yes
how would someone go about replacing both the amp & sub on this exact setup? Would it be possibly to just hardwire new equipment while using the original locations?
my factory sub seems stuck… any suggestions
I'm sad, my sub just blew on my '07 4Runner. I'd change it but I'm not too confident with stereo stuff. Where are y'all located? Maybe when I get back stateside, I can swing on by and have a replacement sub installed?
We are in Clearwater Florida 20 minutes from MacDill Air Force Base.
what's the install time? I'm gonna be in Pensacola come next month and would like to make the drive but don't have a lot of time since I'll be with the Blue Angels
Take 45 minutes, that sounds like a sweet gig.
So you don’t have to replace the amp when you replace the sub?
No
Any way to just unplug this sub from working at all? I have my own subs installed inside my 2003 4Runner and I just wanna be able to unplug the blown stock one since it is causing some distortion with the sound...any way that you can do this without taking the panel apart????? Thanks!
This is what I'm wondering
How did wire your sub ? One wire one side on the red and one on the black on the other side ?
Mrgoodlife_ LK In my Toyota, one of the positive wires is red, and the other is black
I keep blowing the speaker is there a better speaker i can use to fit there i have it connected to a 1000 amp
My 2007 4 Runner just started having an issue with the subwoofer. Is there an easier way to just disconnect it?
Marj Nap no unfortunately all the wires are in one spot
Is there an after market harness for the woofer?
Awesome video! And yes the ending was perfect hahahaha
Thanks for the video do you i need to change the woofer on my 2005 toyota sienna xle but i'm not sure how to find the right speaker for it would you mind to guide me alittle please I would really appreciate it thanks
what is the depth where the subwoofer is placed
Thank you super helpful video!! What is the gasket tape you are put around the speaker? 3/4" x 1/16"? You make mention of putting foam behind the speaker. Is that a hard foam cut out, or a dampening "stuffing"? Also, can you please elaborate on the wiring ? Looks like there is one positive on either side of the speaker?
Joseph Murin it is a 1/2 foam that comes with the woofer. It is about 1/16 thick. It is a dual voice coil speaker from the factory, so there are 2 positives and 2 negatives. One of each on each side.
Five Star Car Stereo Which one are positive??
My 2016 4Runner does not have a subwoofer. Is there a quality aftermarket subwoofer option that will fit my car ?
Pioneer makes 3 sizes of down firing sub boxes that work great in SUV. Check them out on their web page.
LMAO! loved the bloopers. Sounds like me. Great video keep up the great work.
Thanks for watching till the end!
Does that 8” shallow mount woofer fit in a Lexus is350?
Can you do this with the Tacoma JBL Double cab??
Best car audio shop in tampa bay thanks
Thanks for the kind works
what is the size of the woofer?
isnt there one subwoofer on each side of the 4runner? or just 1 in total?
Charles Mowa no just one that I have ever seen.
Thanks for the video and the link to the speaker!
Can u give a link of what the replacement speaker was
Will these speaker fit a FJZ80 Land Cruiser sub location?
hey 5 car guy, i got a 2003 4 runner with a bunk sub-woofer. i tried to install another one and same problem (barely any sound) the one i installed is a rockford fosgate sub. but i notice that the amplifier is getting hot and the voltage in the output wires is less that 0.75 volts whether speaker is on or removed. any clue if its the amp system ?? and how do i identify the wiring color codes ??
+HK DEE does the output voltage go up with the volume? Connect one set of wire to one voice coil on the woofer and check the volume. It should sound ok and have bass. Now connect the other set of wires. If the sound becomes less reverse the wires on that side. It will then play louder.
the voltage does not rise with volume, i'm thinking it's the amplifier. the whole system sounds "cheesy" like raspy-ass analog AM radio from the 70's
HK DEE I would agree with your assessment. The amp is probably bad
Looks like there was a smaller panel that could've been removed vs the entire side panel?
Hahaha i remember when they first came out we had to find the factory amplifier to bypass. Fun times €=·)
Yeah, good times for sure
My sub broke its a kenwood kfc-wr/um3 8ohm 125wnom and my amplifier is a kenwood kac-529s what sub do you guys recommend, 1997 mazda protege
Check out the Rockford P2 line of woofers.
So that means expensive?
What size is the sub like 8 inch
What about upgrading a amp a jbl set up in a Tacoma 2017- I want more punch
