These moc buildings speak to me, because I live near an old city centre with lots of similar style buildings. He (Versteinert) must be very talented in designing moc's. The Art Gallery by Brickative is my favourite, it's georgeous hands down!
Trawling for alt builds of sets I have is one of my favourite things to do especially when the Lego funds are low 😅 It converts to about $24 AUD, which for this is pretty decent in my opinion for instructions for a build like this. Great time to visit that travel shop and book a trip to Australia 😂 Great honest and personal experience review, which I like for encouragement to purchase instructions. Look forward to more of them. Have a great weekend.
I originally built steinekonig’s Apartment and Wine Store and was a bit dissatisfied with the stability of the build. I then rebuilt it as PL MOCs’ The Royal Crown Exhibition. Since that one shares a bunch of design cues with the original modular, it’s now placed next to the Boutique Hotel in my city so they look like one larger building.
Another thoroughly enjoyable video, Johanna! Your joy for Lego always comes through in your videos, and I love that so much. Speaking of alt/mod builds, have you seen the Rivendell expansion by fanpeixi on Rebrickable? I finally have all the parts needed to do it, with a couple of other mods, but i just need to find the time to do it.
Love it!! I don’t like the hotel design but this alternate is actually so good! Side note, I was also wondering if you’d ever do a review for the tranquil gardens ninjago city moc
I recently changed my Assembly Square into a remake of Cafe Corner. I know what you mean by sorting your Lego first - I didn't either - it was a nightmare trying to find parts at the beginning 😂. I think I'll do the museum next, changing it to the 32 stud building. Another great video, thanks 😊
Great moc building Johanna have a great rest of your week

I was really tempted by the brickative one, but I ended up not liking the roof and decided against it. it is stunning for sure though.
@@HighTeaToys The Antique Store looks very good I think, so I can fully understand your choice.
@@Marc76-qt7vp clearly I need to buy a third set 😂

Great review, it looks really good in your city. Versteinert does have some great alt builds to be sure.
He is so talented. I’m glad he makes these instructions so we can enjoy them ourselves
This was an outstanding video! Thanks always!!

I prefer the original set. That MOC looks bland.
