42 mph is pretty fast, especially for a scooter. I have an ebike I'm not super enthralled with and it only goes like 24 mph. How fast the electric bike/scooter market has advanced is cool. Now we have full suspension mountain e bikes from specialized, and stuff like surons. Makes me want to sell my radpower bike and get something more decent. Too many flats on a fat tire bike too, and hard to transport when you do have a flat you can't fix on the spot.
can you tweak your bike any? I have a philodo h8 I only use for rainy days or winter now because I bought an electric scooter that can easily hit 55mph. But with that bike I was able to mess with some settings and now it can hit 36 mph range. It just doesnt kick as fast and takes a min to get up lol. Also speaking of flats, carry a can of "fix a flat" I always used that. Get a flat tire I just spray that in, it airs up the tire as well, and then when riding it spreads around and you're all set. Has always worked for me
Had a cop in the various cuties US observed you going 60 km on that scooter board, you would have been stopped, received a ticket, and possible your scooter board confiscated. Scooter boards are limited to 20 mph or 32 km. For your info, motorcycles no longer have the distinction of being the most dangerous two-wheel conveyance per miles ridden. The highest is rental electric scooters. A Travis County study by the American Journal for Emergency Medicine showed, “There were 160 confirmed e-scooter injuries identified by the e-scooter injury investigation, with 891,121 reported miles of e-scooter travel during the study period. This produces an injury rate estimate of 180 injuries/million VMT (MVMT)". Another national study revealed that e-bikes were second, “The 115 injuries per million e-bike rides beats out the estimated 104 injuries per million motorcycle rides, 15 injuries/million bicycle rides, and eight injuries/million passenger car rides.

Yes. Between the 11" tires and traction control feature, I'd be willing to bet it's as fast off there line as the Wolf King. Not having your front tire burn out as you accelerate is much safer, plus helps with acceleration.
I am not much of a scooter guy, used them few times on rent going at 25KMPH and felt them to be wobbly and unsafe. I wonder how safe these are at those speeds!
This one would be better than the standard Beam/Lime etc ones at higher speed. Not sure about 70km/h though; even >40 on a bike feels fishy on the bikes I've ridden at least.
I have a question, I have a gt2 when the scooter is on the park it is quiet but when I turn on any of the eco modes or sport from below something gently hums, is it normal? And when he switches to the park after a few seconds, is it quiet again? Is this some kind of cooling system?

You know. For offroading I really like the Varla Eagle One with knobbies. Upgraded bars and rear suspension are excellent options, parts are cheap since it's basically a rebranded scooter from last year, it's nimble, and lower voltage so the front tire doesn't spin out too much. That's sort of my go-to off-road scooter. Easy to work on too when things break.
This seems like a Mercedes s class of e scooters. You can cruise for miles and miles and do not have to hold on for your dear life like the high end dualtron models lol.
For me? No. I like to off-road and that's a bit out of the question with this scooter. It's very heavy and has lower deck clearance. That adds to the stability, but also means it's more of a street princess.
i been trying to get your attention to answer simple question. my fluidfree mantis v2 if i change my self tube after a flat. i hear scraping caliper disk now all 8 of my flats where the metel stem meets the actual tube. please instruct me sensei before i get solid tire?
I wish I could help more, but I've never ridden that scooter. I'm not sure what you mean 'where the metal stem meets the actual tube'. You mean the valve stem? If the inner tube is ripping where it meets the valve stem then I'd guess that the tube isn't seated properly before you're inflating the tire. Try adding baby powder inside the tire and slowly inflating the tube while bouncing the tire a little bit. Make sure the tube isn't twisted anywhere before you put the tire back on.

i will add that i would really like if my segway gt2 had much more range, because i just want to ride “all day long” whenever i ride my segway gt2. and also, 7 and 1/2 hours to recharge, needs to be reduced to around 1.5 to 2.5 hours maximum for 100% capacity, or at least 80% full recharge capacity, with one or two quick chargers. i have been looking for a quick charger for my segway gt2 and i cannot locate not even one option nor model available on the market. this needs to be updated as soon as possible. i need quick charging capabilities! this is a requirement.
quick charging is a requirement, and much greater range (twice the present range) is a requirement!
i still love this scooter and everything you said in this video is absolutely true!
i have seen your very powerful quick charger, i think 20 amps at up to over 100 volts abilities, for advanced users. if you had the correct plug adapter for the segway gt2 battery charging ports, what would you think (based on your research and study) would be the maximum amperage you could charge the segway gt2 battery at? (please make a video on quick charging this scooter, if possible)
Should I get the New Megatron GT2 or the Wolf king GT pro? Any suggestions?
42 mph is pretty fast, especially for a scooter. I have an ebike I'm not super enthralled with and it only goes like 24 mph. How fast the electric bike/scooter market has advanced is cool. Now we have full suspension mountain e bikes from specialized, and stuff like surons. Makes me want to sell my radpower bike and get something more decent. Too many flats on a fat tire bike too, and hard to transport when you do have a flat you can't fix on the spot.
20 is fast
can you tweak your bike any? I have a philodo h8 I only use for rainy days or winter now because I bought an electric scooter that can easily hit 55mph. But with that bike I was able to mess with some settings and now it can hit 36 mph range. It just doesnt kick as fast and takes a min to get up lol.
Also speaking of flats, carry a can of "fix a flat" I always used that. Get a flat tire I just spray that in, it airs up the tire as well, and then when riding it spreads around and you're all set. Has always worked for me
Thumbs up mate.Great looking shop!p.s.does it have cruise control?
Thanks.
Yes it does. Can be enabled in the Segway app
Nice looking scooter,I'm afraid I would go down a pothole with the small wheels 🤷👍🏴
Cool! Where I live we’re only allowed to drive 20 km/h 😵
Not allowed to what? What was that. - Ginger on Wheels 😂
Hey, why haven't you reviewed the Nanrobot LS7+? Let me know what you think about that scooter or company? Thank you for what u do!
Super nice scooter, most esthetically right thing, oh that LCD is so nice) 👍
OMG that Vancouver!!!
i have the appollo ghost and i love it but the battery at full blast is done in 40 mins. How is the battery on this beast?
hahahaha that start made my rest of the day Ginger thank you so much! you are the best! :D
p.s. do you recommend this at all? looks very nice to me and also pretty fast. they sell it here for 3,100 e.
Glad you liked the video! If you're looking for the ultimate commuter scooter, I definitely recommend it.
@@GingerOnWheels wow thank you so much. if you say its very good i trust you a lot you know your stuff hehe i am really thinking about it cuz of the lower price here. i all about build quality :D
@@GingerOnWheels would you buy it for 3,1k tho? i know you from your other video that you got a vsett10+ very nice i must say i know from you and others that those are very good also. this will be my 2nd scoot if i choose this after all i was wishing for a bit more range but the build quality is also a must and this like you said got it and it looks that way even from the videos plus segway is famous for it it must be build like a brick if you say so haha :)
awesome video, what a scooter, I feel lame riding my Mi 1s now xD
I'd get a WEPED for that price but that thing looks real nice
A little too heavy for a commuter imo, i'll stick with my ghost
Does it have more pull/power than the Vesst?
Nice power.
Yes. Between the 11" tires and traction control feature, I'd be willing to bet it's as fast off there line as the Wolf King. Not having your front tire burn out as you accelerate is much safer, plus helps with acceleration.
@@GingerOnWheels Yes probably saves your tires as well as your ass😆
is it worth it though?? durability?? and motor quality??
I am not much of a scooter guy, used them few times on rent going at 25KMPH and felt them to be wobbly and unsafe. I wonder how safe these are at those speeds!
This one would be better than the standard Beam/Lime etc ones at higher speed. Not sure about 70km/h though; even >40 on a bike feels fishy on the bikes I've ridden at least.
Looks great, sad that these arent allowed where i live
You ever take it off any sweet jumps?
I have a question, I have a gt2 when the scooter is on the park it is quiet but when I turn on any of the eco modes or sport from below something gently hums, is it normal? And when he switches to the park after a few seconds, is it quiet again? Is this some kind of cooling system?
damn your in vancouver right now? thats so cool because ive been to that same store to test ride the apollo ghost, id be so dope if we could ride together because im not far from van lol.
Enjoy your video tremendously and that is a ninebot on crack I own the Segway ES4 and that's as fast as I want to go thank you for the video and stay safe peace
Love your videos bro I wasif I bought the gt1 what's the big difference 🤔
More range and speed, and much faster acceleration.
are gotraxx any good? was thinking about getting something to commute. Looking at the g4
Like you said it's a road vehicle I'm surprised It doesn't' have a phone holder
Wonder how it hold up to 4 to 5 years of use.
Nice video, this is a scooter i also would love to try some day, seems very reliable : )
Damn kmh I straight up was like damn dude doing 60 mph on a moped
Being that you have stated that you like it but wouldn’t but it due to your desire to off road. Which one would you recommend or pick for off roading?
@@GingerOnWheels thanks so much for your great insight.
How would you compare the build of the Varla quality to Seqway?
that's some meat crayon worthy speed.
Well, Gotrax has the worst Customer Service.
This seems like a Mercedes s class of e scooters. You can cruise for miles and miles and do not have to hold on for your dear life like the high end dualtron models lol.
Would this be okay to use in Australia sa?? Because I kinda wanna buy this
So would you prefer this over the Vsett 10+?
For me? No. I like to off-road and that's a bit out of the question with this scooter. It's very heavy and has lower deck clearance. That adds to the stability, but also means it's more of a street princess.
you can get a honghao s12 able to do 55 good starter ev
i been trying to get your attention to answer simple question. my fluidfree mantis v2 if i change my self tube after a flat. i hear scraping caliper disk now all 8 of my flats where the metel stem meets the actual tube. please instruct me sensei before i get solid tire?
I wish I could help more, but I've never ridden that scooter. I'm not sure what you mean 'where the metal stem meets the actual tube'. You mean the valve stem? If the inner tube is ripping where it meets the valve stem then I'd guess that the tube isn't seated properly before you're inflating the tire. Try adding baby powder inside the tire and slowly inflating the tube while bouncing the tire a little bit. Make sure the tube isn't twisted anywhere before you put the tire back on.
Where do u legally ride these? Like they can reach up to 70kmh which is a lot. So in what country/state are u allowed to drive this e scooter
