Crazy how much I love flatheads. I use to run them back when I was a kid 20 years back out here in West coast sprint kart racing. Different smell different feeling different sound. Man brings back memories seeing this. The parade lap of just hearing them bark at eachother. Died out years ago Anyways appreciate seeing this
Thanks for posting the Limited Modifieds Frank! I love the flat heads. Will continue to like, share, comment and I very much appreciate what you do on the channel! New shout outs and mentions coming soon on upcoming engine builds. I'd like to see this channel grow BIG as you're absolutely one of my favorites!
You have no idea what your comment's mean to the channel! We really appreciate all the inspiration and kind words, Thank you so much for your continued support!
Just back here again for the sounds and sights. The comments have me thinking about the fact that all the "old timers" and folks in the know deep down still love the ol flathead and even though times have forced a change, would in an instant bounce back to the engine that put it all on the map. Just think of all the innovations with this little engines and that's just in the stock classes. Controlled valve float for example, Wow. Not to mention all the other little tweaks that had to be done in order to even allow one to stay on the lead lap. It definitely wasnt a class for the random newcomer. You either had to have DEEP Pockets or you had damned well better been paying attention for many many Saturday nights. if not you flat was not making it. Ha and that's just one of the four parts to the equation. add in tire program, chassis set up and last but not least having a driver that could put it all together and get it done. good luck.
yes, quite a bit of money money money invested into those nice machines. too much for most ppl. nice to watch. too much money to get into with ppl that are REALLY REALLY into it.
I will never understand America's terrible obsession with ovals and "speedways" which are the absolute worst form of racing ever... I guess simple and lack luster is the order of a simple mind.
Hello. Thanks for watching, and for the input. This video was to highlight Maxxis Kart racing, and the bad fast Triple T Raceway. This is why I put a time stamp in the description for quick and easy access to the main event.
Flatheads for life....what I ran in early 2000s
10-4 Thanks for the view.
We're still running stock flatheads at K3 in Kankakee, IL. Decent turnout every Saturday.
This is some seriously quality content in a sport that lacks proper coverage. Thanks for the hard work!
Thanks for watching.

its literally all bump and runs.... at least behind the front set.
great video and great job commentating. you made this more enjoyable than the racing did.
Watch 2015 Pocono speedway INDYCAR then you will understand
you go do your kind of racing and we will do ours..you probably couldnt hold a candle to the worst oval track racer.
You can watch the whole race on a oval from one spot when it comes to a road course you only watch from one corner at a time.
your 3 minute intro is about 2 minutes and 45 seconds to long.
Easy. Time Stamp in the description bro. Duh
It appears many people enjoyed it. That’s also why there is a time stamp in the description to start the race. So your little complaint is not needed
