As you say, it looked so beautiful from the river, almost surreal? Are you guys going to be doing any touristing? Or have you already been to everything and got the tshirts? How did it feel going through such a famous locale in your *home*? That must have been so wild?! The boat-plane bit seemed quite extraordinary to me. Even in the widest bits of the Themes I can't quite imagine that happening here, I'm sure it would be illegal to try to do that here. Have you seen many of those? Maybe it's just that I've never seen one? It all looks so very clean, don't you think? Compared to what one might imagine? Again, drawing comparisons to touring London, I grew up with a very dirt ridden London, so that's what's in my memory, but if course it's all rather sparkling now in contrast to my memories, and similarly so there, so clean and bright and pretty!
