My Mom's family also originated from Hue, now I want to find out more about my Mom's side.

Dalat is the place I would love to spend some time in. Thanks for doing such a great job representing it so well. I know this was filmed a while back, but it really captures the good times. Seeing Chris and AfroViet is really nice too. Chris has not been able to film due to lock down, so I miss him dearly.

On the morning of Tet January 31, 1968, communist forces attacked Da Lat and took control of the city.
During the battle the ARVN and the U.S. Army killed around 200 VC.
The ARVN and the U.S. forces regained control of Da Lat on February 9, 1968.

@@phucmapvlog Da Lat was also the West Point of the Republic of Vietnam. In Da Lat was the South Vietnamese National Military Academy, VNMA, Truong Vo Bi Quoc Gia based.

I was interning in Saigon in 2018. Had the chance to visit Dalat in the last weekend of my internship. Loved the place as soon as we arrived from Saigon. Only thing, as a Muslim in Vietnam, food was a bit difficult for me. 🥲

as a vietnamese, i find it so ignorant and racist for Vietnamese to call Africans, black people Nguoi da den (aka black skin people). Why do they need to point out the obivious about his darker skin?? It's rude and racist sounding and I've seen this many times in RUclips shows and channels.
