I notice in wotlk the matches go on a long time until the timing is right... are they any expansions that aren't like that, like where if you go oom, it's basically sudden death?
I feel like vanilla was like that, more positioning based, but I could be wrong.
Either way, good pvp here, I like your playing.

The games can last shorter, but we don't use communication to chain our cc properly and also I am not that good if I was better some of these games could end earlier. But yes I see in general arenas last for sometime, also due to the nature of our comp rdruid/lock makes the games longer. If you play a double dps or a more aggressive healer/dps comp I think they can last shorter. In the end I guess there was some reasoning when they brought dampening into the game. Yeah they did it for views. 30 seconds matches aren't StarCraft e-sports quality. But ooming over and over seems wrong xD

If you want to decide your matches by Draining Mana instead of killing, wouldn't Affliction be a better choice?

​@@tevildo1718 If you want to be dirty, use just Unstable Affliction then Drain Mana. Since Priests always dispels 2 effects, they will always hit UA or take the full Drain Mana.
If you want to be double-level-dirty, don't use DoTs when healer is on a full Fear, it may break. Use DoTs when Fear is about to end. Throw a Curse of Exhaustion so it takes them longer to get behind Line of Sight and you Drain Some more.
If you want to be triple-level-dirty, you purposely clip your Drain Mana tick when healer is about to go behind LoS. You lose 1/2 ticks, but get another full duration.
Now I'm taking the elevator down to meet uncle Lu, I made every healer pissed off.
