Modern dovetail log garage | Finishing the frame

It's been very hot summer here. Most of the time it was almost too warm to work, but we got the frame done with the help of my friend. Now the logs are waiting for assebly in my backyard.

You can also draw "topshelf" at same time and cut log full ready when log is down. It saves time and energy because you don't need to take the log off after you have positioned to it's place. You can position and level the next log direct on that new "topshelf". In Finnish method is called "kertapudotusmenetelmä" or "kertapudotustekniikka".

Tuli mieleen sanonta ”tuossa on viisi hirttä poikittain” joka ilmeisesti tarkoitti että tuossa on ovi, ala mennä. Olen aina miettinyt että aika matala on ovi, mutta kun noita hirsiä katsoo, niin muutin mieleni.

Mun mielestä se sanonta menee niin että viisi hirttä poikki (eikä poikittain) tarkoittaen oviaukkoa kun viisi hirttä on poikki siitä oviaukon kohdalta :D

There'll be a heated storage and shelter to the car so garage was the best word that came to my mind. Feel free to suggest something else. In Finnish it would be autokatos :)
