Boy finds himself sucked into the digital world. A Digimon partner joins the player and will eventually "fade away" with age. Or death, one of the two. Then they shall be reborn and possibly change species. Then the cycle continues to raise it from in-training to ultimate. With the partner Digimon beside him, he needs to raise it right to solve the crisis plaguing the world.
