Is installing the CT connection standard on all ev chargers ?
Yes, it’s required for load management under the “Connect and notify” for DNO unless the property is deemed to have such a low load that the charger and property does not exceed 60Amps combined.
Neat job and professional job, but I'd say be better to use ev ultra cable and d -line clips in future.
We will probably offer both options to our customers soon
It's going to be interesting to see what all these outdoor consumer units are like inside in years to come. Will they survive the conditions ?
BG make a really good weather proof unit and so far seem to be the best out in the elements
Tidy job. Had you considered using 10mm meter tails? far easier & cheaper than 25mm.
apparently now the NICEIC say that does not meet the regs if not covered by a fuse this not the DNO main fuse
@@delsparkI'll check with my local assessor, but i cant see an issue if you cant pull any more than 7KW.
@@ashleybignell2366 thats my take on it too, but was brought up on my assessment last month
@@delspark , just been confirmed from my Nic assessor & he says no problems, it’s fine.
External consumer unit is not ideal and has questionable safety concerns
Quality weather proof units and high standard of installation brings no concerns in our opinion.
Are they 25mm tails ?
they look it
