I prefer realistic battles because it always looks weird seeing infantry take multiple rounds without going down. Also it speeds up the battles, I hate slow back and forth stalemates especially when he AI is left on its own. I also prefer fast moving battles like assaults either curb stomp the defenders or they get wiped out in seconds.
