Rogaine is fantastic, but it needs to be used all the time for maintenance. Otherwise, the hair will fall out and you go back to what you started with initially. Other things that help with keeping the hair thick are adding collagen and nutritional supplements to your everyday day routine. These things definitely make a big difference when used regularly. The key is consistency 😉

As a woman in my 60’s, I have fine, thin, sparse hair. My hair is almost to my waist and I wear it in a (tiny) loose bun. This style camouflages the hair loss on my crown. I've been using fibers for a while now...love them! My thinning is more on the crown and rear, so I start around the occipital point in back, kind of like I'm sectioning it off to cut it. I just drop my head forward and tap the container on the part, then do the same about an inch or so apart until I reach the crown. A darker grey works nicely, giving a sort of lowlight effect. So far, I've used a few different brands (the less expensive, the better...lol) that all seem to work fine. So glad you covered this topic! ❤

Stress impacting my hormones and now pre-meno (awesome Dr. Haver vid, btw!). I looked into these hair fibers years back but as I focus on non-toxic and eco living in my work and didn't find helpful details on the toxic impact of the fiber ingredients, both to people and the environment (e.g. micro plastic breakdown since fibers are so tiny), I didn't buy/use them. Do you happen to know anything that aspect for this product? Thank you!

Like magic, you've given me a solution to my final challenge (for now)... Thinning hair at the front of my scalp. Always apprehensive to complain as the rest of my hair is incredibly thick and I don't want to seem ungrateful, but at 67, my hairline was bound to give me trouble. Justin, your videos are so helpful!! I'm 71 and have very fine, and now thinning hair. My dermatologist recommended Viviscal or Nutrafol supplements, and over the counter rogaine. As a female, I am scared of the rogaine because years ago I heard of people using this getting excess hair growing on their necks and backs where it would run down on them in the shower! I don't want to have a hairy body! 😂 Can you tell me if this is really a concern? Also she said the Viviscal and Nutrafol supplements are fairly expensive. I live on my social security, and wonder if you think they are worth the cost? I would really appreciate your feedback, and I am looking forward to next year when you are going to do more videos on fine and thinning hair!! God bless you for ALL the free help you give us!! ❤🤗🤗🙏🙏🙏

I cannot speak to Viviscal or Nutrafol since I havent tested them out. I have heard mixed reviews. As far as Rogaine, I use the Kirkland brand minoxidil from Costco. Its a mousse type application so it doesn't drip. If you keep it on the area its intended for, you should be fine.

Instead of buying the Toppick hairline "comb" for a more natural look, try a regular comb. Use it the same way.

Are they bad for the environment? Do they degrade and how long does it take, or do the particals go into the sea, the fish eat the stuff and die or we eat the fish and then we have the particles inside us..kinda like plastic?

Is there a lower cost version of this product on the market? This one is out of my range.

I've used a couple of others that seem to work fine. Amazon has a decent selection, depending on the color you need. I just ordered a bag to refill the container I have, so hopefully it will work OK, as long as it matches.

It works for you but need one for swimmers. I think it's a great idea. 😉

Great point! If you’re talking about while you swim, as a stylist, I’ll always recommend wearing a swim cap and rinsing after the pool, which would require applying after swimming. Unfortunately, if the product was water resistant, it would build up which would create a whole host of other problems. Great idea though! A water resistant version that wouldn’t build up would be amazing!

I've been using DIY dry shampoo made out of cinnamon and nutmeg, but it seems like the fibers might be better, especially since the excess nutmeg and cinnamon falls out. How do the fibers adhere? If nanotech and/or black goo is involved, then there is no way on God's green earth that I'm putting that stuff on my head.
