What a cracking tune.i do not like Oasis but Liam sings this song well.the Jam was a class band.it's a pity Weller left the band.so sad.i still have never forgave him.
Damon Minchella from Ocean Colour Scene. This was kind of an unofficial audition for him and Steve Cradock to join Oasis after Bonehead and Guigsy left. Damon and Steve were offered the job on the condition that they had to commit 100% to Oasis and leave OCS and stop playing with Weller, which they politely turned down.
Too much aggression in the vocal delivery. Liam is a great singer, and he sings it well but he over does it at times, less shouting more singing. Maybe it's nerves, maybe he doesn't realise it as they all seem to be bathing in the light of Weller.

Was a double A side single. Buffalo tom did going underground on the double A. Pretty cool to be honest but never the original.
