Recommended Maintenance for the CMC

In this video we are covering regular recommended maintenance for the Wizard Computerized Mat Cutter (CMC).
In this video we have used a Wizard CMC model 8000.
Maintenance Covered:
With compressed air and/or soft brush, clean lower Rail, Horizontal/Vertical Clamp and Head of any matboard debris.
Check backing mat for excessive wear, and change if necessary

Drain the Air Regulator - info.wizardint....
Clean CMC Rails with a soft cloth and general purpose cleaner, especially the lower Rail where the wheels have the most contact with the machine
Clean dust around Driver Pack/ECU - make sure that there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
Clean and drain the air compressor to ensure that the airline is free of moisture.
Make sure that the CMC is still secure in the brackets/stand

Examine and if required, Replace Blade Cartridge.
Check Gantry Belts for alignment - info.wizardint....
Check blade plunge smoothness and if necessary Clean the Footblock - info.wizardint....
