I am from Taiwan. Traffic was totally wack, we don't have dedicated left and right turn lanes. Cars have the right of way and pedestrians need to watch out for cars. Our emergency vehicle lights are always flashing, even though they don't have an emergency mission…..Hope you don't get scared by rude drivers

Taiwan probably the only high income east asian country with traffic that more looks like southeast asian traffic (vietnam, thailand, etc) than like other east asian country (japan, korea) with many motorcycle and wacky road

15:45 I found that Taiwan's traffic control is more like mainland China than Japan, which is when you turn left (=turn right in Japan), you don't worry about the straight-going cars, because they are being given red light. While in Japan, the right turn and the straight going are given green signal in the same time, thus when you trun right, you have to watch and wait for the straight-going cars. 发现台湾跟大陆的信号灯是一样的，左拐时直行车是红灯，两者不会冲撞。但日本（右舵）就是一个绿灯，直行和右拐同时放行，进入路口时就必须人工地观察对面来的直行车，否则就会撞。 但是就这样台湾在日本就能直接换取驾照，不用考试。羡慕
I have been to Tapei multiple times and it is great, even the roads are with there being a lot of motorcycles and taxis with the taxis making the streets of Taipei look in New York.
Its seems Republic of china (taiwan ) , hong kong are more relatable to india well mainland china is also but mostly communism ruin there charm no old looking buildings and purity in there cities to look eastern has died they more look like west but taipie looks more relatable to our cities yes its have better roads but we have same old looking mix with new buildings. Communist china don't know to preserve things and i hate that first in beginning i love to watch those cities but after seeing hong kong , taipie and macau my mind has totally changed. 台湾路上的机车是真的夸张，怎么说有点没秩序。道路设计其实没什么问题，（法规方面我不太清楚台湾的交通法规，理论上应该与美中基本差不多）但是这个机车通行在这个影片里有好几次其实挺危险，而且速度比一般轿车还快。

通過這個視頻了解了一下台北的交通情況，其實也沒有想象中那麼差勁了，還是可以看的。但是我還是要說一下，如果你是這個開汽車的，那真的是會感覺騎機車的人都好危險，本來不複雜的道路一下變得特別複雜了。明明前方是未知道路但他還是硬要猛加速，然後前方道路變窄多條車道匯入按道理是要減速觀察的，但騎機車的無一例外的都是繼續加速和匯入的汽車搶道。我不明白這麼危險為什麼會沒有概念呢，跟汽車搶道出了事故是會丟性命的啊。網上看了很多，但是不管機車族再怎麼維護自己的權益，我還是認為只要減少機車數量，台北的交通環境會大幅度提升，機車因為註定了可通行的選擇特別多，所以騎機車天生就會有左彎右繞的傾向，這是交通素質高低多少都無法改變的。況且，車道線是根據汽車的尺寸和固有屬性劃的，從一開始就不是為了機車而修的道路，所以我不明白如今又何必去追求所謂道路平權呢。要講究最大效率，那麼在特定的車道上通行特定的車輛應該是一件很基本的常識吧。要知道在上海，你只要不是開車的，默認都是走道路最邊緣的，是根本不敢像視頻裡這樣彎到汽車左邊來。。。
