Once amazing about her,is that she can walk,and sing high notes,not an easy thing to do.Once again she sings just like an angel that she is!!
Young Amira just 14 here, banging it out in Swedish, and good Swedish too. She learns the lyrics, so she knows where to put the emphasis and emotion into the song. Makes it look easy, but she puts a lot of work into it. This song is from a Swedish film that translates as - As it is in Heaven. It's about an abused wife who finds escape from her situation through singing with a church choir. Sort of I will survive vibe.
She does like a stylish frock when she performs, it's part of the show, but there are videos of her singing in more relaxed attire, jeans and such like, sometimes at rehearsal or when popping a song onto the end of an interview. She released a gorgeous song earlier this year, just her and her dad in a church, wearing street clothes, and singing like an angel. I highly recommend - Gesu Bambino. It's beautiful..

She sung this with her father on the organ in an empty chapel when she came back to the Netherlands for Christmas. Just before she left SA in early December, she sang Panis Angelicus in a duet with her friend Katherine Hamman.

I also love Amira for her disposition, humility and Humanity. Also she has sung in English, Swedish, Italian, Latin, French and Afrikaans. Her grandmother said that after she sang on TV and won on a talent show in Holland, she would belong to the World.
