    Amazing video! Good for both players too, one gets to highlight their weaknesses the other understands the important of tactics. Also agree with the other comments, flashing up the relevant tactic in real time was really appreciated. I'd love an entire series on this format!

      Yes and it was the first time the match ended with him at least winning a set.
      We did best of 5, but the video has the 1st three sets to keep it shorter. The match amazing and competitive.
      I could have it made into a 2nd part for you to see the full set match if you would like?

      @@dublintabletennisclubI would! Seeing examples of other people identifying and attacking weaknesses in real match situations is really nice.

      Yeah exactly!
      And it just shows no matter what level someone is. Their weaknesses will always be their own downfall!

    Interesting video, showing how you can use tatics in table tennis. But i find some of the points a bit funny, for example you blend in she doesnt attack with backhand then he serves and she attacks with backhand.

    • @dublintabletennisclub
      @dublintabletennisclub  Месяц назад

      Yeah she doesn’t really “attack”. Sure she uses the technique in games, but she doesn’t really use the technique to really counter or use topspin to start the attack.
      She really doesn’t attack “attack”. Not like comparing it to Forehand where she killed or started the attack with it. On the backhand she chops and uses at most like a block / punch in rallies.
      That’s the real coaches eyes when you analyse it deeper. See how many people actually are aggressive with their techniques to win points. That’s how you see which side is stronger and which is weaker!!

      @@dublintabletennisclub makes sense although I think wording it differently would make it for others more apparent, cause she still technically uses an offensive move just not with a s much wuality as with the forhand
      then still good video and thanks for engaging with the comments.

    Great video, I just need to know why he was unhappy😂

    • @dublintabletennisclub
      @dublintabletennisclub  2 месяца назад +2

      haha he was 2-1 up at one stage. Then fought really hard in the 4th set it went like 18-16 against him which he was 8-3 down at one stage. That was the set to take to win the match and beat her. The 5th set he was mentally and physically drained. Not used to her in this environment and didn't perform to his own new standards he set in the first few set.
      But, great mentality from the kid. He adjusted and was brave to go big. Didn't shy away nor hesitated to go for it!!

    No defenders in that club for sure man, can only go 2meters back till u hit the wall :/

      No they do and even have 3 good kids playing with pimples. They modernised their style of just chopping once / twice at most, but aim to counter-attack when / if they can. So a hybrid of attack and defence!

  • @bhavnavig9508

    Push not chop

    • @dublintabletennisclub
      @dublintabletennisclub  Месяц назад

      No it was "attempted" as a chop, but that's the point it's her weaknesses where she doesn't put enough quality on the ball!

      Yeah well said, it was busy and messy with so much content.
      We did best of 5 sets, but had to leave out the rest to not starting making a documentary haha 😂
      Would like to see the part 2 / rest of the sets edited down into a tactical tutorial
