problem for me is: it messed up my beats in progress. When I do not convert them to clips I literally can't touch them any more but when converted - some sounds that were longer than the pattern are getting muted with the end of the old pattern converted now to clip. Dunno how to stay working old method, need to check it. Arrrgh I was very busy, coming back to making music and I am badly supprissed, insted to carry on I am looking after solutions...
That really sucks man, I wasn't aware of that I've just been making new stuff. I guess some pain in the transition phase is inevitable. Anybody else have the same issues?
ok I found the way, need to click at the scene and select pattern, not just to click at the pattern like it was before, did not catch this straight away as they never get lightened up, always staying blacked out like inactive ones, however I am happy even this way as it allows me to work old methods, clips are ok and will be useful but thing with cutting ongoing sounds with beginning of the new clip is to be noticed as well... later will try to figure it out how to prevent it

Your maschine was set to 90 bpm and the acapella was set to 85. Wasnt that the reason it was off or is it just me?
Nah it timestretches it correctly as long as you have the right bpm set on the audio file

You’ve been through lots of semi-fuego. Past 40 the real fuego starts erupting.
This is my strong belief too. The fuego accumulates over time through trial and error, until the 40 mark hits and the fuego is multiplied by 40, causing a massive combustion in fuego.

I was running it in controller mode, hence the big screen n all that! Reaktor ensembles show up and work tho n I'm gonna try some Kontakt 🤫 Just drop it in the User Content folder. They just don't endorse it or guarantee support cause of the shitshow it might cause when people try loading all kinds of shit lol
@@BlezzBeats I was about say! I've been stocking my plus up with all kinds of stuff. I'm sure in a later update it will support many of the Kontakt stuff & other plugins will be in there. Not like the Plus needs it but I'm sure.

I know you like games that logo is what made me press your video the first time lol, if you like sprinkling some bloop stuff on your beats check out the user made ensemble Insidious 6585 for Reaktor. It does the SID chip from the Commodore 64 spot on, filled an entire group without a hiccup too.

Neat! would enjoy to jam/record guitar over a clip. Question though, you mentioned it automatically extends the clip length. I missed if its possible to record while M+ loops over couple sections of a song? Can I overdub or overwrite content of a clip or it always one shot? Or like with Ableton it can record a longer audio in a loop and afterwards you can unfold full audio clip to find a perfect take? Funny, but (with all the advancement of music tech) i don't have a handy jamn/rec flow like that on a standalone device or iPad apps, so have to turn on computer with a Live for some guitaring.

I'm really struggling. I have a mk3, don't really know how to use maschine that well. I love fl studio because arranging is easy, piano roll is the best piano roll since that giant floor one in the movie Big, but making drum patterns and stuff is just way better on maschine. In fact, all noodling around in maschine is better. So I don't know which daw to use. I don't know anything about anything.
Lool I love Tom Hanks in that movie. Weell sounds like quite the pickle. I'd try learning it, or stick to what you like best about them and export the noodles to FL

why have the patterns an scene got dark,not as vibrant colour ?
Help! I created a song using a sample chopped up assigned to different pads. It sounds good when its looped but when i put it all together in Song Mode the samples don't flow smooth. Please help!
Hard to tell exactly what goes on from that, how are you using your samples? As a sampler engine or audio engine? Did you set the choke group for them to choke eachother out? Polyphony set to 1? ADSR/AHD/One-Shot?
Sampler engine..ASDR...polyphony isn't set to one though and i didn't set the choke group...not sure how to do that
@@SharpStomp Ok I think this might work out for you: hold pad mode and set the choke group for each pad to the same number. This will make the chops cancel eachother out (if you want them to). To make sure it flows over nicely to another scene you can set the release on the ADSR a little longer on the last played pad in the pattern. Having the choke groups set up will ensure theres no overlap in sound between that one and the first played pad in the second scene/pattern.

Is this integrated to be used with MK1 & MK2 models?
Been a good few years since I was on the MK1, it will definitely be harder to do it straight from the controller but the buttons more or less line up so try it out
Just tried it on my mk2 and seen this comment, it works pretty good. Obviously lacks the bells and whistles of Mk3 (i.e. the visuals), but you can move the clips around with the pattern button, duplicate them, create new ones etc. Really nice update.

how much space on the sd card is left after installing machine synths and expansions?
I got 40 gb of samples to load into card..think there is enough room?thanks man!
With the included 64gb card you wont fit all that + your own, so I'd recommend you get a bigger card from the get go or you have to install everything again

NICEEE, THEY TOOK AWAY THE IDEALS VIEW PROBLEM IN SCENE MODE
Every time you pressed Scene it would skip into Ideas View, cause Scenes are now intended to be built there. But coming from the old flow where it was just Scenes and patterns, hold scene to select scene, pattern to edit patterns, the switch was a major pain for the ones with the muscle memory built pre-ideas view and required more button presses for less tasks.
But still no routing of midi vst effect plugins or Vst3

Never noticed that! Should be fixed. I never name my patterns :P
@@BlezzBeats yes it should be fixed: and same way maschine jam button should have 'name displaying' pads. More in general all future pads should have the ability to display letters on the pad itself.
So... song mode is basically clips mode now? I used to build the basics in ideas mode then tweak & add/subtract in song mode. I’m guessing I can’t do that now because ... CLIPS FUCKING OVERDUBS EVERYTHING THAT I HAD DOWN!🤬😡😡⁉️WTF⁉️
This clips Shit sucks!!!! How do I get back to the way I arranged my beats? It was so much more simpler before this clips crap came about. All I had to do was hit my shift pattern and duplicate. Can you please tell me how to do that again?
Just hold pattern and press duplicate if its a pattern you wanna duplicate, or scene if its a scene. You just have to keep track of whether you're in section or clip mode, thats the critical thing. Check out my video How to avoid clips i go through it very thoroughly there.

@@BlezzBeats Selecting a clip doesn't automatically loop that section on the linear time line. It does if selecting a scene, but it would be much better if it worked selecting any clip. Maybe it does do this? If not, I do think its a bit of an issue when arranging.

@@BlezzBeats Yeah, Im just so used to this basic feature going back to my first pro tools system back in 2000.
I use Machine a lot but I need to start using it much much more as a performance instrument for live mixes. I used to make lots of records arranged live via the faders and mutes on the analog mixer. I miss that process so much, so Im going to buckle down, pick up a Jam and get busy.
Whatsup there a BLEZZZ this is TukudikaPup, on my new channel! checkemer out! im not sure how I feel about the whole new song view/ideas control. I got so used to bouncing back and forth with shift arranger and automatically watching it pop back and forth was super easy for me. I don't know... For sure a great upgrade, and much needed software thingymagoo but real annoyed the other day trying to live loop and had to change up my game.
I see the button on the + says ideas/song, and not arranger.... that's the difference there. Always changing up the file/transport buttons with new Maschine models.
Yeeah I hear you man it gets confusing reteaching your muscle memory but we've done it before haha, gotta give it some time n space
