In this clip, Ed Lover spoke about his 1996 announcement of 2Pac dying being featured on Nas' "Death Row East" track off of "Kings Disease II." Ed explained that the soundbite is from the announcement he made at Nas' concert at Nassau Coliseum, and he revealed that he initially told Nas to make the announcement. However, Nas told Ed that it would be more appropriate for him to go on stage because of his relationship with 2Pac. During the conversation, Ed also thanked Nas for ending the narrative that Stretch set up 2Pac, which you can hear more about above.

Dammmm....some crazy history... Stretch is from Hollis... out of Stretch own mouth...they had the drop on us... Ed Lover...stayed in my crib... or in the clubhouse with us...( Dee Woods)... Now... The lineage here..... Shock G was originally from Far Rock before he moved west... Sha from No Face Productions used to bring him around.... Stretch is close to Pac... and that studio on Colfax was on Fire in the early 90s... its all making sense now... Stretch told Dee Woods and myself the very next day what happened in the elevator....smh. Stretch was just there to chill and lay down some vocals... @@floralkami2860 no...only Pac...The elevator is very small...5 people would fill it... no one else was hit..Pac was shot because he refused to get down... again...all the pre stuff...who called who...Im not privy too...but Stretch was a good dude... and he told me he was going to drop a verse on a Ron G tape... The building the studio is in also houses Drama books... Directly next to Magno where I worked.... Also... I was the MTV awards in Bryant Park when Suge and Pac were spared by Nas...thats a true story.... My cuz name was escalade...biggest human you ever saw. So when hes in the room...everything id dead...lol... Sure was incredibly humble knowing his boys were not able to help in any way if if popped off... Snoop is the most humble ...focused dude...
