Mic Geronimo’s last comment re: the benefit of therapy was very profound . As a therapist myself who grew up during this era of hip hop in East NY and having also done my own therapy. I can see how much of a positive Impact that mental health is having on others who come from similar neighborhoods.

Mental Health is “a thing” but it’s not one SPECIFIC thing, as the sentence structure would lead you to believe. It’s a CONDITION that is not static and is unique to every individual. To give a proper understanding, and in context with this clip, a better wording would be: “It’s nice to see the positive impact mental health treatment has had on the community.” I’m also a therapist, MSW, LCSW, LMFT. And I know nobody asked for the breakdown, but as in need of treatment as our community is, we should seek to better understand it.

Word is Jimmy Henchman was responsible. Tupac mentions it in "against all odds." Now it's known Stretch was getting work from Jimmy around that time. And he was in the studio that night. Biggie warned pac about dudes like Jimmy and Haitian Jack. Pacs problem was he trusted the wrong dudes and gave them his friendship off the rip. Moving constantly as a child because of who his mom's ran with was detrimental to his growth. He never learned how to read people and give people time to prove their loyalty to him. Once he got to death row records, he's over there in Cali joining the Bloods and fighting for dudes he barely knew when all he was is a cash cow for Suge who gave Suge and his crew of bloods access to certain things in Hollywood. He never developed the street smarts to handle both the quad studio incident or the MGM incident.
False, it's deeper than that. If anything, moving around alot makes you not trust people. Pac was raised by a panther mom who instilled in him to love your people.
