Having followed this project from the very start, I am so proud of you Sarah. Proud of you sticking to this, overcoming most every problem. You have every right to be proud of your handiwork. I congratulate you. Love and respect.
It is obvious by your smile that you are more than proud of MR-2 and all the effort that you have invested into MR-2 and that you are happy with the results! Congrats Sarah, you GORGEOUS car Mom!!🦁 NEVER quit!!!
As a former Factory Rep for Toyota Motor Corporation, Your little MR2 was what we referred to as a Little Japanese Ferrari. It was always one of our favorite Cars! Toyota didn't sell enough so it was eventually discontinued. The MR2 that you own IMO was the very best MR2 we ever produced. Wish you the best with your little Awesome sports car!
I grew up in my dads auto body shop and loved it when a "mister 2" came in for repairs. Thats what my dad called the mr2. I really like yours! Have fun fixing it up.
POP UP - UP AND DOWN HEAD LIGHTS!!!! hahaha. I love how you mentioned the "rap" song. that is so awesome! I just found you, I am so glad I did! times to binge watch.
Sarah your videos are absolutely amazing. What you have done with this car is a true example very fine craftsmanship and workmanship. You overcame many many obstacles and never gave up to produce a Masterpiece project. It is truly a reflection of your character and shows the world how awesome you are, you rock Sarah!
Having watched you battle all the issues and keep swinging hard to overcome them all, I am so happy for you to get Mr. Dos running like it should! Kudos to you!!
Started following you when you were doing simple detailing, and now look at you and Mr Dos...the upmost respect is due for your determination and commitment, through tears and joy, in the end it looks fantastic and is testament to what you can do when you absolutely refuse to give up no matter how dark things can seem sometimes....well done Sarah you really are a truly inspirational and beautiful person xx
Hey Sarah, I usually don't comment on any videos, but after binge-watching almost all your video's I had to make a couple, 1st, hats off to you for your persistence in doing the job right, (I'm OCD myself, so I know the feeling) a commodity that's usually overlooked, 2nd here's an easy way to time your cars if you've removed the distributor, with the engine ready to fire #1 ( you can put the timing mark at 5-10º to get even closer) remove the wire from #1, put a spark plug in the wire, ground the plug, turn the ignition on, rotate the distributor until plug fires, (go back & forth a couple of times to get it close) snug up the bolt & start, you should be close enough to fire w/out spitting fire.. I've used this method on numerous cars & it puts you in the ballpark. Hope this helps in any future builds. Keep up the great work!!
Love this !!! I’ve had over 40 pre 80’s Celicas, 2 Mr2s & 7 Supra’s- 1 mk1 and 6 mk3’s. I’m now in Lexus and corvette. Toyota is still my first love!!!
I’m happy that you’re happy 😃. Been watching you vicariously put together this Mr2 as I had one of the original Mr2. Brings me back to my long lost youth. Im
So, so pleased for you that you've been able to make this video and able to get out there and ENJOY the car. Mr Dos is an absolute credit to you, absolutely amazing dedication and work and looks just superb. Well done
Been following along since the day you bought Mr.Dos and you had 20K followers. It’s great to see you finally enjoy somewhat of a payoff video! Major props for not giving up on him. 💪🏻
Congrats Sarah. The smile on your face is the same smile i get when i drive my MR2. Despite all of the struggles working on these cars is, it is worth it. I have exactly the same seats and love them.
Buddy of mine had a Red manual non turbo 1.8 L in 1985 .. it got around 25 mpg. Sharp car then, still sharp today. Congratulations on keeping the MR2 alive!
Kids in my hs would have killed to drive this back then, amazing to see it now, awesome job! Seriously such a perfect blend of updates and original. That's the sweet spot!
I have an '89 with less than 53K original miles...Leather seats, T-Top... Toyota Super Red... Pwr windows/locks... Drives like a new car. It's gone up in value by around $2000 according to Haggerty since I bought it. Not fast... But a lot of fun to drive. Love the exhaust note on yours... Awesome!
I have really enjoyed watching you work on Mr. Dos. I had an 1985 MR2 from 1990 - 2006. Only thing I needed to fix was a starter and two clutches. I sold it with 235,000 miles only because my 15 yo son kept telling me the horrible things he wasted go do with it.
Congratulations! It's so awesome to see that you've finally achieved what you set out to do with the car, once the little tiny issues you mentioned about are sorted, this specific special mr2 is gonna be one hell of a car!! Be very proud of what you've done!
I had a friend in college who got one back in '92 (maybe?). It was in a silver-blue color that was really nice. We were all jealous and I saw him around town for the next fifteen years with that thing. Still a great-looking design and, honestly, I think it's aged really well. Just look at a 2009 BMW or anything else to see how most cars don't age well. Great job, Sarah. Cheers.
Hi Sarah, I've been a subscriber for years... I don't usually comment because I know you have so many other comments to go through. I just wanted to say congratulations on how the mr dos has turned out. I have watched you go through pain and elation owning project cars myself I know the feeling well done!
Really cool journey! Binge watched the whole build and has be worried about taking on my own MR project… But some really cool info so thank you and we’ll done, Mr Dos is beautiful!
I watched this a few months ago but had to watch it again because you were so happy! I can't wait for your review now that you have replaced all those suspension parts and get it aligned.
All your hard work and tenacity is paying off. Just the joy in your face is the best reward. I really hope you enjoy your accomplishment. Great review.
Several x-owners have regretted selling their MR2"s. One who bought a "Boxter" turned around then got her MR2 back. Mileage is not a strong point on turbo's. These are rare (unfortunately) and VERY ENJOYABLE cars. Am an original owner of a 91T. Congrats and enjoy.
You may not have done The Wraith review I've been begging you to do but in some of the road scenes . . . YOU WERE THE WRAITH❗❗❗ Congratulations, Sarah, you time warped! 💘 You did it!
Why did it take me so long to find this channel. I am subbed to so many car channels and the MR2 is my favorite Japanese car. RUclips needs a better algorithm
What a great looking car. When I got out of college, my first new car was a 1992 Eagle Talon Tsi. I really wanted the MR2, but it was notably more expensive...I’ve always had a soft spot for these.
Has to be one of your most rewarding car reviews . You're way too harsh on yourself. You definitely deserve the highest possible praise for the pure passion you put into everything you do. One in a hundred million you are . Sarah .. House/Farm sitting for a friend has lent me time enough to binge watch your past episodes. You're immensely entertaining. You definitely deserve at the very least a like a sub and contributions to patreon.
You must be very happy that you are just about all finished bringing your MR2 back to life! I am proud of you for having the willpower to stick with it and get this car done you did it!! I have had four different MR2s always when I was fixing them up I dreamed of having the ultimate MR2 which is a twin turbo NSX and now I finally have one.
Sarah I'm a recent subscriber but have binge watched your 68 mr. dos vids like a season of GOT. The end result looks great and it was an adventure watching the process. The paint is on point, the fogs look great, the black slats in the grill and trim work great. The wheels aren't my fav but it's your dream/vision not mine. IMO your attention to detail and passion to make the final product of your vision come true kept me watching. Don't apologize for yourself and don't worry about what your viewers want for content. Push forward and we'll follow your journey. The struggle is your content opportunity not the end product.
That was one awesome and special review. All of that hard work with amazing results. The best part is seeing you happy, you did not need to add the emoji when it was written on your face. The car looks awesome, you should be proud.
Nice. I have a 91 non turbo also but it is all stock except 17 inch wheels. It is a good car but unfortunately my water pump died sometime back and it's just been sitting for a few years since I have other transportation and money for repairs had been nonexistent. Fortunately I have been able to remedy the lack of funds to repair it but I want to do more than just repairs and upgrade the car in several of the ways you have. You did a great job and I am thankful for your documenting your effort. I feel like you have given me some good insights, ideas and definitely inspiration. Keep us posted on the ongoing project. Peace
“Sport mode is always engaged” pretty much sums up the mr2 turbo. Congrats on the build, it’s awesome.
Pop up, up and down headlights!!! 😎
Pop up, up and down headlights. Ugh!!
Mo powaaaaah baby!
James killed it. “LIGHTNING, LIGHTNING, LIGHTNING, LIGHTNING, LIGHTNING, LIGHTNING!!!!!”
Damn you beat me to it haha
Having followed this project from the very start, I am so proud of you Sarah. Proud of you sticking to this, overcoming most every problem. You have every right to be proud of your handiwork. I congratulate you. Love and respect.
Possibly the best Mr 2 on the road.
It SOUNDS AMAZING. Congrats on crossing the finish line. Now it’s just maintenance and upgrades
It is obvious by your smile that you are more than proud of MR-2 and all the effort that you have invested into MR-2 and that you are happy with the results! Congrats Sarah, you GORGEOUS car Mom!!🦁 NEVER quit!!!

Easily one of the most sorted mr2 that’s still out there.
POP UP - UP AND DOWN HEAD LIGHTS!!!! hahaha. I love how you mentioned the "rap" song. that is so awesome! I just found you, I am so glad I did! times to binge watch.
This video is priceless! Watching you today brought a smile to my face. Congratulations on all the hard work.
Ikr RUclips is free
One of my favorite cars as a kid. I’d still love to have one today.
Both looking gorgeous. Credit to you for the build and the hard work. Thank you Sarah

The car sounds amazing. You’ve got your heart and soul into this car, I’m so glad you can finally enjoy it.
Congratulations Sarah! This car is definitely a representation of your hard work and determination to never give up. Well done! 😬

Can't wait to watch this Sarah. I know it's going to be astonishing. A classic no less. We'll done you! 👏👏👏
Well gosh darn, that MR2 sounds fantastic! Keep up the good work!
The smiles and enthusiasm(sp?) are genuine. Hope it makes the spent blood, sweat and tears worth it. Great job!
WOW! That is one of the best MR2s I have ever seen! Mad respect! Congratulations and enjoy!

Car momma with scars on the knuckles pains in the knees tears in the eyes, congratulations on your delivery
This is a 💎 you made. I true labor of love. Beautiful work.
Incredible build both you and your car are beautiful well done Sarah keep up the amazing builds love from the UK 🇬🇧
Brings back a lot of memories (as a passenger in a coworker's MR2). Much simpler time in the 90's.
Your youtube channel is absolutely amazing and i love the mr2
Very, very cool! I love the sound it makes. A great car all ‘round.
"Sport mode is always on in this car." - nice!
Congrats Sarah. The smile on your face is the same smile i get when i drive my MR2. Despite all of the struggles working on these cars is, it is worth it. I have exactly the same seats and love them.
Good Job Sarah!! You should be proud =) Thank You for the humor and entertainment, NICE
Buddy of mine had a Red manual non turbo 1.8 L in 1985 .. it got around 25 mpg. Sharp car then, still sharp today. Congratulations on keeping the MR2 alive!
1.5 beans but the smile on your face says more like 10.5 beans
I had a red 91 Turbo with black leather interior. They're great cars. I'm glad you're taking care of this one.
So glad you decided against the louver. Mr. Dos sounds great.
Kids in my hs would have killed to drive this back then, amazing to see it now, awesome job! Seriously such a perfect blend of updates and original. That's the sweet spot!
I feel like I accomplished something even though I only watched Sarah do all the work....
Awesome!
TODAY IS THE DAY 🙌 it’s all gone on for too long with no review because it’s hard to review a car that kept having issues
That feeling at @7:09 is why you follow your dreams and build your project car.
Congratulations on your success with the mr2 . you did a fanominal job .
Seeing you struggle with your project cars makes me feel better about my own wrenching project mishaps. There are many.
Unreliability maybe a pain but it keeps life interesting. Congratulations , you've done an amazing job Sarah.
You’re the first RUclipsr I’ve seen display the RPMs when reving the car. Nice!
Car sound really good and looks soo clean: great job, dear 😉👍🏻 Brava! 😊👏🏻

That looked like the most fun you have had in a car review, fantastic work, cant wait to see where it goes

Love watching you fall in love with your car!
Super nice car!
That car is awesome. Nice to see someone pay attention and give some love to a very under appreciated niche car.

I had so much fun driving in this with you! After I got out the car I had to readjust my bra straps 😭😂😂😂
Too hot to handle
MICK BETH SO SILLY!!! =)
All your hard work and tenacity is paying off. Just the joy in your face is the best reward. I really hope you enjoy your accomplishment. Great review.

Great video Sarah. It's great to see you enjoying Mr. Dos after all the trials you have been through. The smile on your face says it all. Super job.
Congrats. It does look really good. I need one of these.
I think this my fav review, it’s your work, your ingenuity we are watching. Awesome
You inspire me to never give up on my dreams.

I miss that pop up headlight look. I had 3 cars with that look.
1986 Toyota Corolla Sr 5 lift back.
1984 Toyota Supra.
1986 200 SX Nissan lift back.
Hector Pujols eh I always hated them. Even tho I had 3 cars with them. Hated the air drag.
That car looks and sounds great. 80's and 90's when Toyota was about performance, today its minivans and Camry's.
Sarah,I love your style and attention to detail! You Rock!
I used to roll around that stretch between Sierra Vista and Bisbee in my '94 N/A. Great memories! I'm soooo jealous of your build.
POP UP UP-AND-DOWN HEEEEAADDDLIIIIIIIGHTS
Straight out of "up to speed" Donut Media is a great channel.

Very Nice. Im glad you kept it stock on the exterior instead of a gay bodykit lol. You have one of the best MR2 around today. 😃🤗😘💯🚘

I used to own a 1990 MR2 Turbo about 20 years ago.
I need to buy another one!!!!!
Sarah is the >>FOOSE
I'm not sure either of them will be too keen on you knowing their smells.
