Tongariro river EURO nymph. IT WORKS

The easiest way to flyfishing big deep fast water. Kiwi nymphing is like euro nymphing and catches big tongariro river rainbow trout
10 hours drive for 8 hours fishing. Myself and Johan from / crazyaboutflyfishing day trip to the Tongariro river New Zealand to chase wild rainbow trout in the big water. I used (euro) tight line nymph technique which caught so many big wild rainbows. if your after numbers it is so effective. The only down side is casting can be difficult and less refined with a zero weight line and heavy nymphs but tight line nymphing is fast becoming my favourite method for big rivers.
