25 years ago I found a book by Dr. King called Strength to love a collection of his sermons from 1963 and since then his thoughts on theology and sermons have stayed in my mind. Though I am a pacifist and he was not I still love his morality and example of what the role of a minster of the Gospel should always be. His perspective & teaching instilled values that has directed my journey which i sadly find continue to be at odds with a system that perpetuates the Spiritual Death Dr. King identified in his Life. 25 years ago I found a book by Dr. King called Strength to love a collection of his sermons from 1963 and since then his thoughts on theology and sermons have stayed in my mind. Though I am a pacifist and he was not I still love his morality and example of what the role of a minster of the Gospel should always be. For living for Christ as he did you will be hated by the world.
