You hit the nail on the head! It’s sad to see so many pastors, church leaders, and end time prophecy teachers getting wrapped up in Israel, Jerusalem, and unable to see it. I pastor in Oklahoma, and obviously were a very biblical church, we teach straight from the Bible. I refuse to use commentaries or any such material. I do use Hebrew, Greek, and Arabic dictionaries, but I let the Bible explain, define, and speak for itself. I have a lot of pastor friends who try to teach this stuff, and try to teach and explain who that Great City is, and they refuse the plain Truth right in front of them, other pastor friends ask for my notes, and the past 2 years have invited me to come teach Eschatology at their churches. What disgusts me is how many churches donate and give money to the temple institute, involved with the red heifers etc. when I was a young g teen in the 90’s my dad pastored and had a pastor friend (it was also my mothers brother’s in law) who also pastored the man who had begun breeding heifers back then. So I grew up seeing pastors and churches involved with this and my dad would always criticize them for doing it, and I’m so grateful my dad taught my brothers and I correctly especially in these areas. The temple and the sacrificial system was done away with and it’s a stitch in Gods nostrils, an abomination and those who take pleasure in and help support the temple institute are blood guilty themselves.

The Mountain "Dew" it says. Christ went up to the Mountain to pray to the Father. Moses went up the Mountain to receive the Law. God chose "green" signet rings to hold the poles of the Ark. Good presentation - I'm not a Preterist but I know the argument. My only suggestion is that when they call Jerusalem "Sodom" and "Egypt" these are no doubt slandering titles, but they're also foreshadowing of things to come. Sodom is one of the two cities (and Gomorrah) God destroys in Genesis, however Sodom is where Lot lived, and God calls Lot out of this city. He also calls Israel out of Egypt, where they were enslaved. No one denies that Jerusalem was compared to Sodom. But there's something else deeper. The harlot sits on more than just seven hills. She also sits astride the beast - the one with seven heads and ten horns. This is the beast that will take over the whole world. And at the top of this thing will be the harlot. What Revelation is saying isn't that this is just going to be Jerusalem, but that the beginnings of what mystery Babylon is begins with Jerusalem and expands out to every sinful city, and every enslaving nation. This is in alignment with the understanding that the two witnesses are not two individuals, but are in fact the body of Christ, which is a whole different tangent but in direct connection to the context of Rev 11. It's also in alignment with the understanding that the patterns of the Bible repeat themselves: the true prophets were slain by Jerusalem, certainly, but as the church grows, those prophets and martyrs are slain in numerous places. Not just Jerusalem but all over the world. However, the roots of this persecution can only be found within the actions of Israel and the seat of her power - Jerusalem. And not today's Israel, either. Today's Israel is no different than any other nation - Christ made sure his church would spread beyond the confines of Judea to encompass the entire world.

OC Jerusalem represented the flesh and God's judgment against the OC world was about God bringing a judgment against the flesh. The whole world was judged when OC Jerusalem was judged because the judgment was not about judging OC Jerusalem it was about judging the flesh. Anyone who wants to exercise the religion of Cain, which is the religion that seeks to flatter themselves and show off their works to God as being righteousness, will be thrown into the mix with OC Jerusalem and they are judged with that same judgment that was put on OC Jerusalem.
@@kristinbingamon568 @kristinbingamon568 I don't get around it. Everyone knows what happened to Jerusalem in 70 AD. But also keep in mind that "David's seed" would build God's temple, which Solomon did, but then Jesus did again, in much more epic fashion. The Psalms were written as prayers for their times, but applied to Christ as well. There is nothing new under the sun. Jesus has not returned yet - those are the last days. And I realize the interpretation in Matthew 24 the end of the world can be ready as the end of the "age" as well. But it still takes nothing away from this entire verse. Or why there's no reference from John in Revelation of what's happened to Jerusalem. If you would like me to elaborate, I'm happy to, but I don't think it takes anything away from what happened in 70 AD - Jesus' words just extend well beyond the immediate generation he's speaking to, towards his second coming. I feel like there's a giant cover-up present if "every eye saw him" back in 70 AD, but no one kept any record of it.
@ if I had a dollar for every time someone quoted that verse to me but forgot the part that reads “even those who pierced him.“ I would have a lot of dollars😂 Remember, Jesus called the unbelieving Pharisees blind guides. He said they had eyes but did not see an ears, but did not hear. So I wonder if the meaning of every eye will see him could be taken in that same sense? Maybe it’s just possible that everyone at that time did understand the significance of the fall of Jerusalem and that it signified the end of the old covenant and it vindicated the martyrs and the Christians as the true Israel of God and maybe we just have been confused because we are so far removed from Hebraic thought. @@Duskrunner Jesus has not returned yet end quote many people do not understand the 'return of Christ' and they confuse the return of Christ with Him coming in the clouds of heaven in 70 AD. 'Coming on the clouds of heaven' is an expression that is used for 'a judgment from God' Jerusalem is who pierced Christ and it was every one who lived in Jerusalem who saw the judgment from God. Therefore every eye in Jerusalem saw Him coming on the clouds of heaven when they were judged in 70 AD. The return of Christ is when the HS comes and is a return that takes place with the individual believer. Christ returned on Pentecost, He returned to Paul on the road to Damascus and He appeared to Timothy, and He returns every time a believer receives Him. Jesus Christ is now manifesting Himself as the Holy Spirit of God.

@ no it doesn’t but Christian thinking without historical context does. Jewish eschatological thinking understands the patterns. Two messiahs or one that comes twice…. The answer to that is in the book but it’s in the beginning. The middle blank page in your Bible should be torn out. It is one book and you cannot interpret one without the other. So Hitler killed us by the millions in a 7 year period. That led us back to the land to do it all again. When we look upon whom we pierced when he returns to his city to reign we will finally get it right. Emotional hunches and feelings don’t make a theology correct. When was Obadiah’s prophecies fulfilled? Amos? Zechariah’s? What about Elijah coming back in Malachi? Was that all finished in John the Baptist? Then who was with Yeshua on the mountain with Moses? I can go on but I’ve read the whole book over and over for 50 years and you can’t make the preterist view stick when you stand it up against all of it.
You're right, I've been saying it for years. As many issues as I have with the Catholic church they're not mystery Babylon. A man I used to have a lot of respect for, Tom Horn (RIP) was going around teaching this false doctrine and he even made prophesies that didn't happen. It's so heart wrenching.

It is the only entity that fulfills all of the attributes, and a "future entity" is not possible because of the time prophesies that have already occurred. I dont know, I think they could possibly track down descendants of the tribes. If there is anyone out there who has always been told by their family that they were descendants of said tribes were to get their genealogy and dna tested, they could possibly identify the strain just by eliminating the ones they know and seeing if what you have left is a rare or previously unknown strain. With a little more of that speculation you spoke of, they might come up with something.

"In that day" is in contrast to the prophetic choosing of the Branch "of these days" while "in that day" is Messianic and refers to the day of the Lord, again read Zechariah. St.Jude referring to the second coming of Christ and quotes from the book of Enoch which clearly is not preterism. As a Preterist, you will never understand Luke 23:31. I don't disagree with you. But since according to you, Babylon was already destroyed, is it possible the U.S. is the new Babylon? I asked because in the book of Revelation it reads the whole world weeps when the great city is destroyed. I don't think that happened when the temple in Jerusalem was destroyed. For example, Caesar issued a decree that a census should be taken of the whole “ world.” That word didn’t mean the planet necessarily. the notion that revelation only speaks of one great city is a presupposition that shouldn't go unchallenged. Even nineveh was called a great city. the great cities in rev 11 and rev 16 also have different fates, which seem to indicate that they can't be the same location. Jerusalem is spiritually sodom and egypt and rome is spiritually babylon from what i see so far.

The short season of Satan being released begins after the thousand years is completed, as Satan was bound up until the thousand years was fulfilled 3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while. 2. The resurrection takes place at the end of the thousand years, and after the holy city/Babylon has been trampled by the Gentiles for the 3.5 years. Revelation 11:2 But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months. How can Satan be loosed for the 3.5 years when the 3.5 year prophecy is fulfilled within the thousand years when Satan was bound? The 3.5 years of when the Gentiles/Romans are trampling Jerusalem, is what culminates the thousand years and completes them. My understanding is that the 'short season' is an elaboration of the prophecy contained in the 'little scroll' that John ate in Revelation 10 7 but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets. 8 Then the voice which I heard from heaven spoke to me again and said, “Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the earth.” 9 So I went to the angel and said to him, “Give me the little book.” And he said to me, “Take and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth.” 10 Then I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter. 11 And he said to me, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.” The many nations, peoples, tongues and kings in verse 11, is also revealed as being Gog and Magog in Revelation 20 The 'thousand years' is when the mystery of God would be finished Rev 10:7, and after the mystery of God is finished, then Satan is released, which only means that the adversary of the church and Christ is at work in the Pagan nations and causing the Pagans and Heathen nations to now be God's enemies. 7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. 9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. The mystery of God is about God dealing with Israel's promises, and when those promises are fulfilled(at the end of the thousand years) then the church will deal with the Pagan nations and subdue them by the fire of God from heaven(gospel of Christ), for a short season... History shows that Christianity spread like wildfire all over the four corners of the earth after the OC Jews were no longer causing all the kings of the earth and the heathens to unite with them and go against the church.
There’s a lot more in the description of Babylon in Revelation than you went over. The description of Babylon in Revelation 18 doesn’t fit Jerusalem at all.

Rev 17:11 says… The beast that was, and is not, is himself also of the eighth, and is of the seven. Translation? Says “himself”. So if it's talking about the “scarlet beast” could that be the RED Republican leader, which is a “him”? Looking deeper into vs.11 it's saying he was (president), then he wasn't (these past 4 years), and is again the most recent winner. He's the 8th, but was of the original seven. So he returned to power. Therefore doesn't it sound like this is a prediction of the Trump win. Mystery Babylon is the US. John repeats multiple times that the scarlet beast ... was, is nor, then is ( president again). This all leads to Revelation 18 and the land of the beast (false prophet ). Trump. This was something that came to me the night of the election. I randomly was pulled to this very verse. Coincidence... I can't believe it was. Good video

Compare Rev 13 with 17 (that I spoke of) so there are multiple beasts, keeping that in mind. One land of a beast has this number of horns and another beasts land has another count of horns. Openly read 13 and 17. If we have eyes to see, we can potentially believe these are the same mountain range described. For that particular beast. See Rev 13:1... same number of horns for Rev 17's beast. Then Rev 13:11.. says he (John) saw another beast, with 2 horns (mountain ranges?) again. Key... mountain (RANGES) Have many mountains. So I haven't worked this out yet... but whatever country has 2 maintain ranges has that other beast. Is that Rome, Iran, Isreal itself. More to uncover.

The Torah was the law of the old covenant, not the new covenant. The Torah does not exist today and hasn't existed since 70 AD.

I agree that Jerusalem is Babylon, but disagree with the preterist aspect of your interpretation. God has shown the end from the beginning, and His plan is laid out in the seven days of creation. God told Adam that in the day that he eats from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, he will surely die. He lived to be over 900 years old. If a day with the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years is as a day; God wasn't telling Adam a lie. We are roughly 2000 years from Christ's death and resurrection, so that would be 2 days if we look at it from that perspective. Roughly 6000 years since creation, and about to enter into the beginning of the Sabbath/Millennial Kingdom. If we look from that perspective, Jesus' time in the flesh was in the last days of the "week". Read the end of Hosea 5, and into the 6th chapter. It speaks of God returning to His place for 2 days, and then returning to resurrect or transfigure His people. There are way too many markers that point toward future fulfillment of Babylon/Jerusalem being destroyed. Those markers line up with the second coming of Christ. Perhaps there were some partial fulfillments of some prophecies in and around 70 a.d. but prophecy is cyclical. There is nothing new under the sun. I also disagree about how you portrayed God's law, and the covenant that we broke. Fault was found with us, not with the covenant itself.

Maybe I said something misleading in the video, but the law brought death… just like if someone touched the ark they would die. Paul said the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. Jesus fulfilled the law for us since we aren’t capable.

Some think it's before and after the second coming of Christ. Some think it's before and after judgement and the second death. The phrases are mentioned a few times, and usually in the context of the unforgivable sin; blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. I would need to study it further to see if there are allusions to the Millennial Kingdom, but I honestly haven't delved into it because it doesn't seem like a teaching on the difference between the two or what to expect from the transition between one and the other. I didn't think you thought it was inspired, I just wanted to point out the Idea that the Book of Enoch actually copied from the Bible. Many Christians assume it was written by Enoch the seventh from Adam and that it was written long before the NT. The Book of Enoch was actually written by several authors Between the 3rd century B.C and the 3rd century AD. @@kristinbingamon568 We really don't for sure. While I think the Book of Enoch quoted from Jude, I will admit it is possible that Jude and Enoch quoted from the same source. Jude never said anything about the Book of Enoch, he mentioned Enoch the seventh form Adam, who is not the author of the Book of Enoch. Jude's quote is aloo close to Deuteronomy 33:2. Jude actually refutes the teachings of the book of Enoch in his epistle.

If we mention the reformers that were burnt at the stake then add witches, all other "heretics" under the inqusition even the apostles show what system killed most martyrs, if we look at the attire of the higher ups we see scarlet and crimson with purple scarfs, we see the rejection of woman (celibacy) the chaning of time and laws (the calendar, sabbath, add purgutary, calling priests father and pope holy Father, preist forgiving sins claiming to intercede for men before God which is Jesus positon). Finally there is only one relgious leader that all statesmen bow to and that is the pope.
OC Jerusalem and the Catholic religion are the same in that the doctrine of the Catholic church is about seeking after righteousness through Catholic laws just as the OC Jerusalem was seeking after righteousness through works of the law. Both the Catholic religion and OC Jerusalem are harlots in that sense of the word as being marked as the unfaithful.

It’s sad to see so many pastors, church leaders, and end time prophecy teachers getting wrapped up in Israel, Jerusalem, and unable to see it. I pastor in Oklahoma, and obviously were a very biblical church, we teach straight from the Bible. I refuse to use commentaries or any such material. I do use Hebrew, Greek, and Arabic dictionaries, but I let the Bible explain, define, and speak for itself.
I have a lot of pastor friends who try to teach this stuff, and try to teach and explain who that Great City is, and they refuse the plain Truth right in front of them, other pastor friends ask for my notes, and the past 2 years have invited me to come teach Eschatology at their churches. What disgusts me is how many churches donate and give money to the temple institute, involved with the red heifers etc. when I was a young g teen in the 90’s my dad pastored and had a pastor friend (it was also my mothers brother’s in law) who also pastored the man who had begun breeding heifers back then. So I grew up seeing pastors and churches involved with this and my dad would always criticize them for doing it, and I’m so grateful my dad taught my brothers and I correctly especially in these areas. The temple and the sacrificial system was done away with and it’s a stitch in Gods nostrils, an abomination and those who take pleasure in and help support the temple institute are blood guilty themselves.

Good presentation - I'm not a Preterist but I know the argument. My only suggestion is that when they call Jerusalem "Sodom" and "Egypt" these are no doubt slandering titles, but they're also foreshadowing of things to come.
Sodom is one of the two cities (and Gomorrah) God destroys in Genesis, however Sodom is where Lot lived, and God calls Lot out of this city. He also calls Israel out of Egypt, where they were enslaved.
No one denies that Jerusalem was compared to Sodom. But there's something else deeper. The harlot sits on more than just seven hills. She also sits astride the beast - the one with seven heads and ten horns. This is the beast that will take over the whole world. And at the top of this thing will be the harlot.
What Revelation is saying isn't that this is just going to be Jerusalem, but that the beginnings of what mystery Babylon is begins with Jerusalem and expands out to every sinful city, and every enslaving nation. This is in alignment with the understanding that the two witnesses are not two individuals, but are in fact the body of Christ, which is a whole different tangent but in direct connection to the context of Rev 11. It's also in alignment with the understanding that the patterns of the Bible repeat themselves: the true prophets were slain by Jerusalem, certainly, but as the church grows, those prophets and martyrs are slain in numerous places. Not just Jerusalem but all over the world. However, the roots of this persecution can only be found within the actions of Israel and the seat of her power - Jerusalem. And not today's Israel, either. Today's Israel is no different than any other nation - Christ made sure his church would spread beyond the confines of Judea to encompass the entire world.

The location of where the martyrs were killed is not relevant, it is the spirit that was killing the martyrs that was identified with OC Jerusalem. Therefore because OC Jerusalem had this persecuting spirit, they are held accountable for all the martyrs. Cain killed Abel long before OC Jerusalem existed on the earth. But Abel's blood was avenged in OC Jerusalem's destruction. God did not put Abe's blood guilt on Cain and God would punish anyone who slayed Cain because of killing Abel.

OC Jerusalem represented the flesh and God's judgment against the OC world was about God bringing a judgment against the flesh. The whole world was judged when OC Jerusalem was judged because the judgment was not about judging OC Jerusalem it was about judging the flesh.
Anyone who wants to exercise the religion of Cain, which is the religion that seeks to flatter themselves and show off their works to God as being righteousness, will be thrown into the mix with OC Jerusalem and they are judged with that same judgment that was put on OC Jerusalem.

But also keep in mind that "David's seed" would build God's temple, which Solomon did, but then Jesus did again, in much more epic fashion. The Psalms were written as prayers for their times, but applied to Christ as well. There is nothing new under the sun. Jesus has not returned yet - those are the last days. And I realize the interpretation in Matthew 24 the end of the world can be ready as the end of the "age" as well. But it still takes nothing away from this entire verse. Or why there's no reference from John in Revelation of what's happened to Jerusalem. If you would like me to elaborate, I'm happy to, but I don't think it takes anything away from what happened in 70 AD - Jesus' words just extend well beyond the immediate generation he's speaking to, towards his second coming. I feel like there's a giant cover-up present if "every eye saw him" back in 70 AD, but no one kept any record of it.

Maybe it’s just possible that everyone at that time did understand the significance of the fall of Jerusalem and that it signified the end of the old covenant and it vindicated the martyrs and the Christians as the true Israel of God and maybe we just have been confused because we are so far removed from Hebraic thought. The answer to that is in the book but it’s in the beginning. The middle blank page in your Bible should be torn out. It is one book and you cannot interpret one without the other. So Hitler killed us by the millions in a 7 year period. That led us back to the land to do it all again. When we look upon whom we pierced when he returns to his city to reign we will finally get it right. Emotional hunches and feelings don’t make a theology correct. When was Obadiah’s prophecies fulfilled? Amos? Zechariah’s? What about Elijah coming back in Malachi? Was that all finished in John the Baptist? Then who was with Yeshua on the mountain with Moses? I can go on but I’ve read the whole book over and over for 50 years and you can’t make the preterist view stick when you stand it up against all of it.

You're right, I've been saying it for years. As many issues as I have with the Catholic church they're not mystery Babylon. A man I used to have a lot of respect for, Tom Horn (RIP) was going around teaching this false doctrine and he even made prophesies that didn't happen. It's so heart wrenching.

No, see this is where you don't understand the Old Testament prophecies. Read Zechariah and see the term "in that day" ... has nothing to do about the end of an old covenant. On the contrary, it has to do with the fulfillment of the old covenant. "In that day" is a famous prophetic term as is "the day if the Lord." It refers to when God will judge the wicked and will restore Zion, Judah, and Jerusalem. This did not happen in 70 a.d.
"In that day" is in contrast to the prophetic choosing of the Branch "of these days" while "in that day" is Messianic and refers to the day of the Lord, again read Zechariah.

For example, Caesar issued a decree that a census should be taken of the whole “ world.” That word didn’t mean the planet necessarily. And there were Jews scattered all over that” world” who would definitely have been weeping when Jerusalem fell. That’s my take anyway.😉. I don’t think there will be another “ Babylon” just as I don’t think there will be another Passover lamb. Once the cup is filled full (fulfilled) it’s done. The only reason for another Babylon is because we try to cling to futurism. That’s just how I see it anyway🙏❤️

the notion that revelation only speaks of one great city is a presupposition that shouldn't go unchallenged. Even nineveh was called a great city. the great cities in rev 11 and rev 16 also have different fates, which seem to indicate that they can't be the same location.

How can Satan be loosed for the 3.5 years when the 3.5 year prophecy is fulfilled within the thousand years when Satan was bound?
The 3.5 years of when the Gentiles/Romans are trampling Jerusalem, is what culminates the thousand years and completes them.
My understanding is that the 'short season' is an elaboration of the prophecy contained in the 'little scroll' that John ate in Revelation 10
7 but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.
8 Then the voice which I heard from heaven spoke to me again and said, “Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the earth.”
9 So I went to the angel and said to him, “Give me the little book.”
And he said to me, “Take and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth.”
10 Then I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter. 11 And he said to me, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.”
The many nations, peoples, tongues and kings in verse 11, is also revealed as being Gog and Magog in Revelation 20
The 'thousand years' is when the mystery of God would be finished Rev 10:7, and after the mystery of God is finished, then Satan is released, which only means that the adversary of the church and Christ is at work in the Pagan nations and causing the Pagans and Heathen nations to now be God's enemies.
7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. 9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.
The mystery of God is about God dealing with Israel's promises, and when those promises are fulfilled(at the end of the thousand years) then the church will deal with the Pagan nations and subdue them by the fire of God from heaven(gospel of Christ), for a short season...
History shows that Christianity spread like wildfire all over the four corners of the earth after the OC Jews were no longer causing all the kings of the earth and the heathens to unite with them and go against the church.
There’s a lot more in the description of Babylon in Revelation than you went over. The description of Babylon in Revelation 18 doesn’t fit Jerusalem at all.

Rev 17:11 says… The beast that was, and is not, is himself also of the eighth, and is of the seven.
Translation? Says “himself”. So if it's talking about the “scarlet beast” could that be the RED Republican leader, which is a “him”? Looking deeper into vs.11 it's saying he was (president), then he wasn't (these past 4 years), and is again the most recent winner. He's the 8th, but was of the original seven. So he returned to power.
Therefore doesn't it sound like this is a prediction of the Trump win. Mystery Babylon is the US.
John repeats multiple times that the scarlet beast ... was, is nor, then is ( president again). This all leads to Revelation 18 and the land of the beast (false prophet ). Trump.

Compare Rev 13 with 17 (that I spoke of) so there are multiple beasts, keeping that in mind. One land of a beast has this number of horns and another beasts land has another count of horns. Openly read 13 and 17. If we have eyes to see, we can potentially believe these are the same mountain range described. For that particular beast. See Rev 13:1... same number of horns for Rev 17's beast. Then Rev 13:11.. says he (John) saw another beast, with 2 horns (mountain ranges?) again. Key... mountain (RANGES) Have many mountains. So I haven't worked this out yet... but whatever country has 2 maintain ranges has that other beast. Is that Rome, Iran, Isreal itself. More to uncover.

God doesn't change but the law did. And so did the covenant's that God made with Israel also change.

For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law.
Many people do not understand the change in the law, but the Torah is no longer God's commandment. The Torah was the law of the old covenant, not the new covenant. The Torah does not exist today and hasn't existed since 70 AD.
Sure looks like this passage, when read in context, is speaking about the Levitical priesthood being changed to a priesthood of Melchitsadeq.

Which is also when I believe the old covenant was done away with. The book of Hebrews explains the the temple in Jerusalem was the symbol for the age of the old covenant law, but when it fell, that age officially ended forever🙏❤️
I agree that Jerusalem is Babylon, but disagree with the preterist aspect of your interpretation. God has shown the end from the beginning, and His plan is laid out in the seven days of creation. God told Adam that in the day that he eats from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, he will surely die. He lived to be over 900 years old. If a day with the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years is as a day; God wasn't telling Adam a lie. We are roughly 2000 years from Christ's death and resurrection, so that would be 2 days if we look at it from that perspective. Roughly 6000 years since creation, and about to enter into the beginning of the Sabbath/Millennial Kingdom. If we look from that perspective, Jesus' time in the flesh was in the last days of the "week". Read the end of Hosea 5, and into the 6th chapter. It speaks of God returning to His place for 2 days, and then returning to resurrect or transfigure His people. There are way too many markers that point toward future fulfillment of Babylon/Jerusalem being destroyed. Those markers line up with the second coming of Christ. Perhaps there were some partial fulfillments of some prophecies in and around 70 a.d. but prophecy is cyclical. There is nothing new under the sun.
I also disagree about how you portrayed God's law, and the covenant that we broke. Fault was found with us, not with the covenant itself.

Maybe I said something misleading in the video, but the law brought death… just like if someone touched the ark they would die. Paul said the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. Jesus fulfilled the law for us since we aren’t capable.

The funny thing about those who claim prophecy is cyclical is that they all believe that when their version and understanding of the prophecy is fulfilled then that prophecy doesn't repeat again after that.

Some think it's before and after the second coming of Christ. Some think it's before and after judgement and the second death. The phrases are mentioned a few times, and usually in the context of the unforgivable sin; blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. I would need to study it further to see if there are allusions to the Millennial Kingdom, but I honestly haven't delved into it because it doesn't seem like a teaching on the difference between the two or what to expect from the transition between one and the other. Those passages are usually talking about a sin that won't be forgiven for all of eternity. Thank you for replying to my comment.

F.Y.I Jude does not quote from the Book of Enoch, the Book of Enoch quotes from Jude. Caution should be exercised when reading the Book of Enoch because it contradicts the Bible and is heretical. I cover thus briefly in my video on the sons of God in Genesis 6.

I didn't think you thought it was inspired, I just wanted to point out the Idea that the Book of Enoch actually copied from the Bible. Many Christians assume it was written by Enoch the seventh from Adam and that it was written long before the NT. The Book of Enoch was actually written by several authors Between the 3rd century B.C and the 3rd century AD. @@kristinbingamon568 We really don't for sure. While I think the Book of Enoch quoted from Jude, I will admit it is possible that Jude and Enoch quoted from the same source. Jude never said anything about the Book of Enoch, he mentioned Enoch the seventh form Adam, who is not the author of the Book of Enoch. Jude's quote is aloo close to Deuteronomy 33:2. Jude actually refutes the teachings of the book of Enoch in his epistle.

7 (Churches, hills, spirits..) is the number of completion thus Babylon now is everywhere, Jerusalem shows us that not even the chosen were immune(though should be most immune) , Egypt and Sodom show the interchangeability of the cities under the same system. We must also take in Jesus words when he defines what the true Jews should be, never really an ethnicity but those who follow the Law and the prophets, thus would have followed our Lord who came to fullfill, uphold the law and clarify it not do away with it. Babylon is now the world (esspecially the big cities ,come out of her my people) though this system of rule, both civically and spiritually led by men in place of God, claiming suveranity. Though this system has headquaters which in our Global system is now Washington, New york and the Vatican. Judaisim, Islam and even Christians deny the actual sonship of GOD (trinity) thus all reject the new covenant. If we mention the reformers that were burnt at the stake then add witches, all other "heretics" under the inqusition even the apostles show what system killed most martyrs, if we look at the attire of the higher ups we see scarlet and crimson with purple scarfs, we see the rejection of woman (celibacy) the chaning of time and laws (the calendar, sabbath, add purgutary, calling priests father and pope holy Father, preist forgiving sins claiming to intercede for men before God which is Jesus positon). Finally there is only one relgious leader that all statesmen bow to and that is the pope.
OC Jerusalem and the Catholic religion are the same in that the doctrine of the Catholic church is about seeking after righteousness through Catholic laws just as the OC Jerusalem was seeking after righteousness through works of the law. Both the Catholic religion and OC Jerusalem are harlots in that sense of the word as being marked as the unfaithful.
