I lost my mother to suicide in 2004 and hated when people said "she has a small kid how could she do this?" . It made me very upset that they insulted my mom. Depression is an illness . It is time people took it seriously and asked people to get treatment rather than tell them to *cheer up" or "get over it" . And we can be kind to people and even strangers in the internet as we don't know what they're going through.
