  • Super compilation of over 650 C64 games in 86 minutes.
    The Commodore 64 count far more than 10.000 games, but here you can have a little chance to find the game you don't remember the name since i tried to pack togheter most of the famous ones in a single video. (still missing a lot, i know)
    Click on a title to jump to the respective gameplay or longplay of the game. The feature works only for around the first 400-500 titles since i reached the maximum allowed number of youtube annotations.

    Got so many, i can't really say what's my favorite, probably one of these: Fist II, Renegade, last ninja II, revs, enigma force, Microprose soccer. Enigma force is for sure the game i have played the most, played it everyday for over a year until my tape wasn't able to read it anymore ^.^

    Funny you mention microprose soccer, me and my mate played that a hell of a lot, theres was a place on the corner of the 25yd box where you could stop and not get tackled, then choose your moment and always score in the top corner of the net.... my mate always had the edge on that game....
    Kikstart 2 was another one of my all time favourites.
    Recently picked up a c64 on ebay, slowly collecting all the games I used to own, great memories.

    Awesome trip down memory lane. But, you forgot a few: Bristles, Zork I, II and III, Beyond Zork(C128), Plundered Hearts, Pitfall, Ultima I, II, and III, Pegasis, Castle Wolfenstein, Wolfenstein 3D, Wasteland, The Bard's Tale I, II, and III, 4th and Inches, Day of the Tentacle and Golden Pond. Those were the ones that I had. But, like you said. You can't put all 10,000 games on here. And, Tandy is starting up again. How funny.

    Went through the whole video, trying to find a game I played as a kid, but can't remember its name :(
    The camera in that game is vertical, similar to the one in Alcazar: the forgotten fortress. The game starts by someone kidnapping your kid, and you are basically looking for your kid, trying to save him, inside what seemed to be a deserted mansion, going through different rooms, each represented by a separate screen.

      I remember a robot with a single stilt which fire lasers and passes through multiple small zones. The zone changes as the CYBERWarrior goes over. Despite all I can remember the involving music and plainluThe song cannot have description nor I can compose it without a Midi SYNTH. :-(

    • @MIDNITENOWHERE

      Nope, SORRY. The game is not multichromatic, and the robot use his single stilt to jump. It does not walk.

    I know that fast progress is often made at the start of things. Also sometimes a huge leap just comes along that moves things forward immensely. But look at this shit. These games are like 30 odd years old. Look at games now. Where the fuck are we going to be in another 30 years??

    • @Rattopaz
      @Rattopaz  2 года назад

      I don't know, but games haven't changed much in the last 10 years, yes they got better graphics, but gameplay haven't changed almost at all and in most cases, it got even worse.

    • @childofthesun32
      @childofthesun32 2 года назад

      @@Rattopaz Oh yeah, the experience hasn't gotten better, probably even worse and the graphics have gotten way better. I'm thinking more in terms of the "interface between game and our experience" has been overall improving on average.
      A lot of games are becoming more like realistic simulations with what's possible, and sure maybe it's implemented poorly a lot of the time, but on average, things are improving.
      Like, I was very into RPGs in the 80s and 90s, so when more games started incorporating RPG elements, I liked that. Now more and more games are implementing survival/realism elements. I like that too.
