Taurus continues to amaze me with their innovations. The options of optics, or not, is really good. Interesting weapon there.👍 My daily carry weapon is an 856UL Defender. The 3" barrel is perfect for me with having carried a 4" S&W Mod28 for years as a peace officer. And after cataract surgery in both eyes, my distance vision is perfect, but the front sight of a 2" revolver is a blur. Add one more inch, and the front sight is in focus. Thus, the Defender is great. Very good video! 👍Always look forward to seeing your videos and, the exceptional work you do.

@@yrsued Well sir, I'm a retired peace officer, and from the old school ways. Carried revolvers on and off duty for nearly three decades. My safe is full of single actions and double action revolvers. There are two 1911A1's in 45 Auto, but no plastic guns allowed here.😉 I'm a traditional sort, but I'm no gun snob. If a dot sight improves one's shooting, then by all means use it. Again, many thanks for the information and reviews you do. I admire your dedication and honest approach. Been a subscriber for quite a while, and have forwarded many of your videos to my friends and family.
Great presentation! I like revolvers even in todays "I gotta' have more bullets" days! Older folks that learned to shoot with a revolver have a leg up on a lot of people. The trigger pull of a revolver aides with SA/DA semi auto trigger manipulation. I can go out anywhere here with my 6 shot or 5 shot mag snubby revolver and feel armed. Great to have in the car. I know Ken Hackathorn calls a 3" model revolver the "Holy Grail" of revolvers. Personally, I would pass on installing an optic on a revolver. For competition shooters fine, me I'll pass. Great job! The cool thing is that the Optics mount is just an option, you can run it with or without Optics.
