Long story short about the 23 team, Bendix realized they weren't good enough to win again and while it hurts, I kinda commend him for having the guts to blow it up quickly. If he would have "tried" for 2 or 3 seasons with that team they would have failed and we'd be where we are now. If his ideas work, they'll be competitive sooner than that 23 team would have been.
