Sebastian's a cool dude. Helluva singer, but also really down to earth. Met him in Detroit a few years ago and he bought a few of my buddies and i a round of drinks and hung out with us for about an hour, talking. Super cool guy.

Out of those three he's the best vocalist, no contest. Dave in his prime was by far the best showman of three, he's was one best of all time at that.

My girl friend and I were sitting at the bar in the Rainbow around 1994 or so. Lemmy from Motorhead was playing one of those old tabletop Packman video games. With his drink running low he comes up to the bar says Hey how you doing? I was stupidly star struck and just said Great. He got a new drink and went and played Packman again. It was one of those times if I wasnt so starstruck I might have been able to have a cool conversation with a Lemmy from FReaking Motorhead and I blew it. I will regret that the rest of my life but at least I met him so to speak. Its weird though that bar to them is just a neighborhood bar. Alot of those rockers born in Los Angeles drank there before they were famous.
I was in that same situation ironically right around that same time frame 94. And I did end up taking advantage of Lemmy being very approachable and bought him drinks for about 2 hours. It was the best $200 I ever spent LOL! We talked about everything he answered every question I possibly could think of. He was a cool dude no shit. Oh ya, Jack and Coke was his drink that night anyways...
I regret not talking to Evel Knievel when he was standing in front of me in line at the sports book at the old Maxim hotel in Vegas

Sebastian seems like a cool guy....I wasn't really a Skid Row fan per se, but I've always admired his vocal ability......and he seems very "down to earth". As far as DLR.....who of us hasn't had a few too many and said something that we (at least should have) written a letter for the next day? lol

Loved it!!! In my mind the natural progression was DLR to Sebastian Bach. Sebastian was the only one who could make me fall in LOVE with a band like I did with VH when I was a kid. Music notwithstanding, these two frontmen were the difference between appreciating somebody's music and getting totally emotional about the band itself.
history will show that Dave perfected the performance aspect of all Van Halen shows......not just any frontman can put lyrics to stuff Ed and Al come up with.......it takes someone special to do that ....and put on a real show

Axl Rose took what DLR did and inserted anger instead of humor. Search David at his peak '80-'86, and then Axl at his peak '87-'91. The influence is easy to see.

The guy is cool, were in same age group, liked the same bands as kids/teens. Yea, he yaks on, but...he had a good career. He's also still a fan in general of bands that influenced him. He's always first to tip his hat to a band with compliments.

A an ex-boss of mine, her best story was: Sebastian Bach followed her into the women's bathroom at some rock bar in NYC back in the day. He had been flirting with her that night. He asks to kiss her and she says ok. They are kissing and hugging and she feels him trembling slightly. She pulls away and says, you are shaking, are you nervous? He replies, no, I just did a bunch of meth. She says, Ooo! Gross! and leaves the restroom. End of story.

I met Sebastian back just before he went on in Aneheim in 1990. He said "what are you doing here" and I made up a bullshit story. But he knew better and said "fuck security sucks here". I went back out onto the stage and had a couple beers from the huge Iced stash laid out for the band before the show started. It was an awesome concert too.

I can understand him saying that, b/c for over a decade, everyone copied his act... Even now when you look at Adult Swim's Dr. Rockso, or a band like Steel Panther -- it's a facsimile of DLR.
